And the Apple Music playing music on “My Station” dies after playing a song or two still exists. I fee like this bug has been there since Big Sur.

Also, external display swapping bug still exists, iMessage on MacOS no longer recognizes that I am the family organizer when trying to approve ScreenTime requests…This release isn’t any worse than the last, but Apple really needs a “bug-fix” release. A bunch of “just works” features aren’t working.

I thought the Apple Music thing was just me. More specifically, it’s just my one computer…

The Apple Music thing seems like it’s related to some bad networking code, like a queue that the first bad request blocks and it never clears itself.

I think the specific network issue for me is losing internet, like if you unplug the Ethernet cable it seems to trigger it.

I’m on WiFi on 1 gig/1 gig fiber. This has been happening for ~2 years. If you search for others, you will find dozens of posts to Reddit and Apple support. There is never a solution. I guess I will just have to continue to avoid stations that don’t have a set playlist going forward. Here’s to hoping MacOS 15 fixes the issue.

One does not learn System Settings, you just use the search bar and hope one of the three different results has the setting you actually need.

        RIP System Preferences.

Just upgraded my M1 Air, loving the new animated wallpapers and lock screen.

My only pet peeve is that the offline phase of the upgrade took a whole 20 minutes - something which no other OS requires - yes, even for Windows, the offline phase of an upgrade is usually in single digits.

So this is something Apple definitely needs to improve upon.
