Notice the fact I bet specifically did not endorse any side let alone “go to lengths” in doing so. I actually implied no one in this conflict is trustworthy.
I don’t think that these people really care about either of them. Siding with terrorists and trusting their every word is trendy in some social circles. It could be that some of these people spent hours on social media arguing that Russians are stupid for believing Putin’s propaganda, when the war in Ukrain was as trendy.
