Threads is significantly active with mainstream accounts posting. There is a slim chance they’re going to Mastodon.

Threads is on estimated to have ~23m active users by end of year. That’s literally 14x more people than Mastodon right now.

Comparatively, Lemmy only has like 35k active users but seems sufficiently active.
