    Unless they shoot her with the gun, obviously.

    Seriously though, I think virtually every female rock star of the 70s and 80s has a story like this about someone influential, probably before that and probably after that too. Because female rock stars are expected to ooze sexuality, which means powerful men in control of them feel they can take advantage of them. And that ends up as sexual assault. I feel bad for her, for members of The Runaways and so many others.

    Depressingly easy to believe.

    I knew girls in high school in the 90s who were models, and who at 13-14 were working with photographers who would only shoot with them if they “consented” to sex. Men in positions of authority throughout history have used that authority to violate those without power.
