Abortion clinics have asked judge to block ban after amendment to state constitution was passed enshrining right to procedure

The ruling moves action in the case back to the Hamilton county common pleas court, where abortion clinics asked Judge Christian Jenkins this week to throw out the law following voters’ decision to approve enshrining abortion rights in the state constitution.

How was the ban considered enforceable at all the moment the ballot measure passed? It’s the law, not a suggestion.
