I think he sees it as an effective way to divide the American public and win political points depending on what he does and when, but I would be shocked if he had genuine moral opposition. Because that would require him to have genuine moral stances, and I think his only strong feelings in his entire life have been about getting and holding on to power.

I really don’t, at least not because of any strong moral convictions. I believe he cared a lot about abortion as a means to an end, though.
