I was, in fact, talking about both The Netherlands and the U.S.
So why on earth were you so confused that you thought “the only two options were ‘only the U.S.’ or ‘every country in the world.’” Neither of these two options includes the Netherlands.

No one is confused about what you are talking about: we all know you can’t talk about the bad in any country (at least in the EU) without at least shitting on the US too. It’s just a lot of other people are just like you.
