This is a scene of Tarzan’s/Jane’s daily life. Because they live in the jungle, instead of a “paper boy” they have a “paper chimp”. And the paper chimp keeps throwing the daily newspaper through the window instead of on the porch.

In the real world, sometimes the paper boy ( or girl) will miss and send the paper through the window. At least, that was a very common trope in comedic media. This couple is prehistoric, cavemen, Flintstones, whatever, and therefore it’s a chimp that delivers the newspaper.

Ahh okay okay yes that makes sense. Guess I’m the wrong generation to immediately think of the paper boy… maybe wrong part of the world too. 🤔

Interesting how jokes travel through time, what gets lost along the way. Thanks for the explaining bud 👍

There’s nothing wrong with not understanding; different generations, different life experiences can lead to different knowledge. There is strength in acknowledging something doesn’t make sense, and casmael@lemm.ee should be proud of that strength and for wanting to learn.

You, on the other hand, should be ashamed of yourself for being critical. If it bothers you so much, stop reading the comments and just look at the pictures.
