Not worth it. Biden isn’t going to win Ohio anyway. No dem will win Ohio for thirty years. That state only rivals Florida in what a disaster it’s become in the last ten years.

Having lived there, Houston to College Station to Waco is 100% ugly. Really all of East Texas. I admit the hill country is pretty decent.
I moved to Seattle, though. Most Texans don’t know what they’re missing.
This sounds like a great idea to pass right before we elect a guy who’s promised to be a dictator.
They’ve been doing this since the 2000s. I remember having to set up a proxy server at home just so I could connect to it and actually browse the Internet at school without every third site being blocked for no reason.
It’s sort of like magically turning everybody into a middle class white guy. Would it be good for each individual? Probably. But it’s probably worth thinking about why it’d be so good, and what that says about our real, non-magical world.
Looks like Seattle to me.
In the US people working the tills are usually TOO nice and you don’t want to make smalltalk with them. Only in NYC have I encountered rude till people, and even there, most are pretty pleasant.
Yeah this shit annoys the hell out of me with certain websites where I’m trying to ctrl-f information. It hasn’t loaded the whole page until I scroll down, so my search ends up being worthless.
We should literally be doing everything AMLO is asking for, regardless of this deal. I know the guy is a bit of a blowhard, but it’s good that Mexico actually has a leader that has policy goals that benefit Mexico and the rest of Latin America, rather than an American stooge.
And of course it’s at the non-union South Carolina plant, not the union Washington plant.
Went to a Tool concert ahout six months ago. It was pretty clear that they were not fans of their fans.
I hate how people on Reddit have a fucking bizarre fascination with this band. Yeah, I was 13 once, too, and also thought it was deep then. Then I grew up.
Lots of people expressing negativity in this thread but I want to say that even at age 37, going home for Christmas still feels like I’m a kid again. I laugh and joke with my family, we eat good food, decorate the tree, do winter activities, and have a ton of fun. I look forward catching up with my family at Christmas all year.

Okay but it is definitely a garbage movie. The plot is terrible. Come on, guys.
Okay but are you just using toilet paper to dry afterwards? And does just water actually get it all? You’ve still got to get in there a bit right?
Or in the case of my dumb microwave: BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEEP.
WHY SO MANY
This happened to me. I got a PhD and expected to be able to get a tenure track job in academia. Sure, it’s hard. But it wouldn’t be me that failed at it, right? Wrong. Three years later, no job, scraping by on adjunct work.
I went back to law school. Sometimes you have to redefine your life in a way that gives you new opportunities. Does it still hurt that I couldn’t get my dream job? Yeah, but I have a lot of good I can do for the world in other ways, and I’m not going to let that dream’s death prevent me from doing it.
