I think the opposite. I think sex work as it exists mostly now, wouldn’t be like this in an ideal world. But in an ideal world everything is perfect. So let’s say a world that has ideal economics, people don’t have to resort to this as an act of desperation. But even in such a world, surely there are lonely people? Or people who are just extremely unlucky in love? Or those who don’t have a lifestyle that fits with a long-term relationship? Or those who would like but aren’t ready? The list goes on. One constant that remains in 99.99% of us is one of the most fundamental primal instincts we have - to procreate. This is why food and sex are so enjoyable. Because evolution has led to these things being so great since the genes responsible for that enjoyment have thrived the most and allowed our species to thrive as a whole.

So I think in a world with ideal economics, where everyone can survive and live in health regardless of their luck or opportunities, there will still always be those individuals who crave intimacy and deserve it just as much as anyone. That is where sex workers would be vital.

One large factory or hospital uses more power in a day than most people will use over the course of a year or maybe more. In many cases more than all Linux users combined lol. It’s astonishing. What repo? Use npm to get nativefier, the one from regular apt etc. are not current, they’re copies of older versions. Dunno why someone did that.

You could also always nativefier it and make it like a webapp. I have some sites setup like that on my machine.

Web UIs rarely support everything one needs; usually they support their own system and maybe a little bit of bonus.

Outlook web for hosted Exchange won’t even do multiple mailboxes in a unified Inbox, even on the same account!

I’ve been wanting something too! What I really want is something that interfaces natively with Exchange server as well as integrated inbox for multiple accounts.

The one product that exists is Blue Mail which is pretty nice except that half its functionality is broken. I’ve been in contact with their support multiple times over many months and eventually they just gave up. Its functionality is limited by arbitrary glitches and unknown limitations which they simply don’t want to bother fixing.

I have roughly 30 computers and I’ve migrated all but one over to Linux. Never been happier!

Also I’m able to run 10 year old hardware and thoroughly spank brand new stuff that’s got Windoze11.

Sounds like some people I’ve encountered who really don’t know shit, and have just survived on the ignorance and impressionability of others they con into paying/employing them. Then they just Google every problem they’re tasked with fixing.
