I like turf war, but I definitely agree. Some kinda big change needs to happen.
I don’t know what would be a cool replacement but then again it’s not my job to think of one lol

I hope they never try this 3-way team thing again. Made Splatfests feel so unfair. Especially with the arbitrary point system they used for calculating things. Kind just felt like they slapped whatever number they wanted to on a category and called it a day.
Last night I took a look at the (US) Splatfests for both 2 and 3. In 2, our of the 25 fests I partook in, my team won 14 teams. Pearl and Marina had an even 15 wins between all the fests.
in 3, I only participated in 16 fests, and my team won 3 times. Not only that, but Shiver’s team won 9 fests, Big Man won 7 and Frye a whopping 3. The balancing in this game felt fucking atrocious and I feel like that killed a lot of my motivation to play.
Now ofc Nintendo can’t really predict what team is gonna win when they make choices, but whatever changes they made to the point system did jack all in fairness in my opinion.
I think I’m just gonna go back to splatoon 2 after this
oo I have an answer of sorts! Humans are endurance predators, not ambush ones. We’re meant to be moving often for hunts, standing still for long periods of time isn’t what our body’s good at.
I feel like a lot of modern society does whatever it can to ignore the fact that we’re animals too
So is this like talking about the zone out daydream stuff? Cause if so, I simply don’t exist. I pick one of the stories I’ve made and work on them instead. Or replay some of my favorite scenes.
If this is about the mental image of myself, it’s either a formless stream of consciousness, or when I’m berating myself I almost acknowledge it as a different person
Ah yes, hearing loss. So cool.
I gotta start direct downloading my music again soon. Spotify has just left me feeling so frustrated lately.
it’s literal torture working in retail and having this happen. I just have to sit there with a fake smile plastered on my face, mind running a mile a minute and watching the line behind this person grow as they explain to me what I already figured out. On the plus side, outwardly I appear really patient to others!
every day pretty much. the only reason why I own Bluetooth is so I can get away with listening to music at work.
I also play a rhythm game on my phone a lot, and theres noticeable delay in audio with Bluetooth compared to wire. calibration fixes it sure, but a good chunk of me is just discontent knowing it simply knowing it exists.
it’s a temporary fix. A patch up. If you don’t focus on proper posture and stretching excersizes, it’s very likely you could end up in that same situation again
not really, but I really love how it normalized wearing face masks in public. 1/4 of the way to helmets being accepatble to wear all the time!
he is the guy who made me realize the pattern, actually! started playing destiny and I was like ‘oh man I love him WAIT A MINUTE’
It’s not exactly a fetish, but I’ve got a thing for guys who wear masks or helmets.
I ended up learning about em dashes about a year ago on one of my random knowledge-for-writing binges I do! idk why but they’re one of my favorite pieces of trivia to throw at people
for me it’s Video games and writing! Most of my free time is spent doing one or the other
If you want to watch a similar experience that doesn’t ruin other people’s days, I recommend checking out Vagrant Holiday’s videos! The guy tries to spend the least amount of money possible while traveling without being an asshole. he’s even done a video in Japan! I should really binge his stuff again
there have been times where the secondary thought overrides the primary thought, and i often end the message with just finishing the parenthesis. worst case scenario, I’ll even add a tertiary thought
Am I really listening to music if I don’t experience tonal whiplash with each song? Is it really living if I’m not listening to a j-pop song only to have post-metal be next in the queue??
Not only that but I also just get a real good grasp on the music I listen to in general. It is a very fun excerisze to be able to guess the song that’s playing within the first few seconds.
I’ve got acrophobia. I remember a few situations as a kid where I got panic attacks from seemingly mundane things. Nowadays I can avoid most things that’d trigger it, but I can’t use ladders and stairs are always something I have to take at a slower pace.
Rhythm games, 100%. I am a fair bit obsessed with them but I have yet to find a friend who truly Gets It. They either only like music, or they like games. Somehow never the marriage of the two.
i like using big words as an excuse to teach them!
