Even if it does take 2 hours start to finish, I have to imagine there’s at least SOME part of the recipe that involves waiting for something to cook. That’s dishwashing time right there.

When people are talked down to, they often dig in their heels due to an emotion called psychological reactance. The reactionary ape that still exists in every human feels challenged and that ape will not allow reason to stop it.

If you see such a reaction and allow yourself to believe “well that person was just an immature child”, you risk giving yourself license to keep talking down to people. Repeat ad nauseum.

It doesn’t matter that you’re objectively correct about the effect meat has on the biosphere if you just keep going around that circle, creating 0 new vegans every lap

Another great lazy meal is hummus. process together a drained + rinsed can of chickpeas, a couple tablespoons of tahini, the juice of half a lemon, salt + spices, and however much water it takes to get the texture you like. Smear it on a plate, maybe add a puddle of olive oil with some herbs sprinkled over, and wipe it up with pita.

A real cheat code here is when you truly can’t find it in you to cook, have some easy heat and eat meal or something and then plan + prepare tomorrow’s dinner.

Microwave burrito + take chicken out of the freezer for tomorrow

Since that initial big story in early october, Panera has done more to make it clear just how much caffeine is in these drinks. Prior to this, without going to their website someone might not even know they were caffeinated at all.

Or we could just fund it to the extent needed to serve the people it’s meant to serve.
