Idk if your model has an sd card slot, but mine does and I found a flush mount micro sd card adaptor. I got a 512gb Sandisk right now that seems hella fast, especially for backups.
The End is Nigh(tly updated, don’t worry)

For real though, I know of 3 Tacoma’s that have over 300k miles and are in daily driver condition.
I used to get sandwich bags of weed from a guy that was a “DJ”. He would weigh out 3.5 grams on a triple beam scale stolen from the science classes at a local high school. Also, I could smoke cigarettes at high school in a special shed.
if you’re going this far to get wrecked, just do heroin

AI has all the popularity of the spoiled vaping neighbor kid and his new drone.
Sub Zero Fridges, amazing. Toyota, just about any vehicle they make. Vulcan Commercial gas ranges/ovens. Original Penguin Button Up Shirts or Pendleton outer wear. Stihl chainsaws. Festool power tools.

2004 Wacom Cintiq 21UX. Drawing on a screen that large and heavy is awesome. I built it into my desk and can raise and lower it from flat to nearly 90 degrees. The brightness has faded over the years, but I won’t let it go until I can afford a new one (equivalent $3k + today). I can barely work in PS with just a mouse anymore. It spoils ya.
Don’t tell me how to read!
dive into the world of old school drafting supplies…oh man, I used to draft scale artistic renderings of houses on vellum. Look up “Drafting Machine” and accessories. Just beautiful, super accurate equipment back in the day.
goddamnit, TIL
Filming on film and showing in the theater is wildly outdated and unecessary. At the same time we have reached so much bloat in digital content that even the act of sorting what is worth watching takes a lifetime and feels disappointing. It also feels like a guantlet to find anything for a rewatch to the point I give up and just do other things like write tepid takes on lemmy.
Swimming. Pool, Ocean, Lake, River…all the above. I could swim all day.
In the US there are some things covered in the survey and some not. We paid for an independent home inspector to go top to bottom of ours before purchase. I tested the water, had the most recent electrician go over our system, and talked to the neighbors about the history of the property. It was very good to have all that information and worth the money to pay for. It greatly reduced the worry and I got to know the property before buying it.
Walk away unless you plan on doing a large, time consuming, and expensive renovation. Don’t fall in love with the idea of what the property could be. Make sure it suits your needs now and the seller is much more transparent.
Letterkenny, Trailer Park Boys…the Canadian loophole
yes, my roku has less issues. the atv version seems to be pretty bare bones, which is why I use plex as well. and for whatever reason plex works better on atv than roku ¯_(ツ)_/¯
I got an apple tv 4K and factory reset my tv. never updated the tv or allowed it online after that. i use the plex app and jellyfin for local network files. it also has VLC from the app store for free. apple isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but they don’t embed ads in the app interface. also, the ATV has a huge mute button, one of my favorite features.
as far as disabling the android crap, I went through every single menu setting and turned off all of the nagging “features” like auto update, bravia notifications, sign in, anythin android, etc. it acts almost entirely like a dumb tv in that way now. very relieved after spending $$$ on a TV and fearing the forced ads. good luck, hope this helps.
