  • That’s alot easier to type out when you haven’t been a quadriplegic for 8 years.

I understand and to a point agree with your points.

But think of it from Nolans perspective. He referred to himself as a waste before he had this implant. Regardless of how awful Musk is, other people who do care have in Nolans words “Given him purpose” again and has changed his life in only positive ways. If even just for a few months/years he is able to start enjoying life again.

??? I gave 2 examples of the issues I have with the steamdeck/Linux, and none of them were related to how games work on the steam deck.

One was about modding a game, and the other was about rebinding mouse keys.

In no way shape or form did I present the “1% of gaming on Linux”. 1 example was exclusive to Linux, and the other was exclusive to my steam decks configuration.

You completely misinterpreted my comment. And if this meme bothers you, then there is some truth too it.

  • I wish I could rebind every key on my Logitech 902, but they don’t support Linux, Ghub doesn’t run on wine, or any other method iv tried. I can’t rebind the dpi adjuster keys on linux.

I’m on day 7 of trying to get oblivion modded on my steam deck. And before you say “just install vortex and oblivion on the main SSD” I have the 64gig edition, and it needs the space for updates/programs/ect,ect.

Yes the steamdeck is phenomenal, but it is not perfect. And in all honesty, I think the steamdeck currently is too much for the regular person who doesn’t live and breath technology. It’s a device that requires you know what you are doing, or to learn what to do. From my experience the average casual/console/mobile gamer doesn’t want to learn how to use/diagnose/fix Linux, then optimize their game, just to play the game.

And yes, the steamdeck is my first real experience with linux, incase you were going to ask.
