I live in Europe, and somehow my toilet gets blocked every couple of months. Might have to just clean it properly with a spiral, but so far the plunger has always worked.
Just don’t be too aggressive. There will be backsplash.

And what would be the advantage? It wouldn’t be routable through legacy systems, and you’d run out of addresses in a couple of years again.
Who is Up Dog?
Just as a warning, the macvlan stuff isn’t well documented and seems to have hard limits. I worked with it a couple of years ago and had to eventually read a lot of Docker code to figure some stuff out, and the host was only able to successfully set up 4 macvlan networks at a time - the fifth (and any following ones) were never reachable, even though I used the same scripts as for all other ones.
Things might have improved in the meantime.
Why would the app size be the lowest? I could maybe see that for one single AppImage (though I don’t expect a significant difference), but as soon as you have two or more apps, sharing dependencies would make Flatpaks smaller than AppImages.
You switched two wires.
Installing an extension by itself? That’s easy.
Finding all the extensions you need, actively maintained and quickly updated? Yeah, that’s really difficult, depending on your needs.
Crazy what other commenters are coming up with.
It depends. I really liked Mozillas initiative for local translation - much better for data privacy than remote services. But conversational/generative AI, no thank you.
I like “orphanize” - one of those things that shouldn’t be a word, but is!
Protest against genocide? Straight to genocide. Be against genocide? Believe it or not, straight to genocide.
HOLD THE DOOR! HOLD THE FUCKING DOOR!!
Has a Democrat president ever amplified messaging like “the only good Republican is a dead one”?
I bought the game and played for roughly 3 hours. If you’ve seen their stream from the technical test, I got roughly as far in the meta-game as they did, but run-wise I got somewhere ~the middle of the third act. Right now I can see at least ~3-5 hours of unlockables I need to get resources for (and more is revealed after more runs/unlocks), and I haven’t tried most new boons yet.
It’s really good. There are three things I’ve noticed are missing (animations for one interactable in the hub world, portraits for 2 characters further in). Aside from that it feels similar quality-wise to the first game, which I last played a week ago, so it’s still fresh in my mind.
I’m sure new content will get slower soon and halt in a couple of hours, but wow is it polished already. There’s also an indication of a lot of additional content coming in the future, but that will have to wait for further patches.
I’ve had three refund requests rejected so far (~10h playtime).
But yeah, affect is a verb, effect is a noun.
Unless you are effecting a change :)
Can I self host the official snap server, and use it with an unmodified client? If not, it’s proprietary.
I don’t know if it’s a people who already have issues and have guns are more likely to use the gun instead of other means kind of statistic you have there
Well, you could easily figure that out by reading the link I sent. But I’ll gladly clear it up for you: the statistic isn’t about “likelihood of using gun for suicide”, it’s “likelihood of suicide”. Men who own guns are 8x more likely to kill themselves than men who don’t.
but owning a gun does not want to make you want to kill yourself purely by existing. It is a problem that exists regardless of the gun.
It is, but that doesn’t mean you should ignore the statistics. Owning a gun dramatically increases your chances of suicide, mostly because it’s the quickest method easily available. Suicide is extremely often an impulse. If you have a quick and easy method available, you’re far more likely to commit suicide than if you don’t. This has been researched for a long time.
And people who just… don’t have a gun have a thousand different ways to accomplish the task. You aren’t like, a healthy individual then get a gun and suddenly have … urges.
Okay, so people with suicidal thoughts should just buy guns and go through with it, or what? I’ll repeat myself: you don’t just get help and are magically better the next day. Improving your mental state is a process that takes at the very least multiple years. Knowing yourself and statistics well enough to not give yourself an easy suicide method is good.
Unless you produce hydrogen from fossil fuels, you’ll have to take energy into account as long as we don’t have massive overproduction (which we’re far, far away from). By using the less efficient process, you’ll keep us reliant on fossil fuels for a longer amount of time.
Hooo boy, I get what you mean. Though I’d also love to be tossed around by Striga. And, on her good days, Carmilla.
