We often have prices changed when a customer reaches checkout.
I know this isn’t your fault or anything but damn, that seems lightly customer hostile at best, and deeply unethical at worst. It sounds like it should be illegal.

For one, CNN has a history of firing / cutting ties with anyone that is pro-Palestine (not even anti-Israel, just anyone who simply doesn’t want people in Gaza and the West Bank to die).
I have nothing personal against Adele but something about her singing voice feels like she’s grinding glass into my eardrums. It’s painful to listen to.
If some sites only need me to click the one checkbox to prove I am a human, why aren’t ALL sites using this method?!
OMG thank you I didn’t know that!
I kept pressing and holding and got annoyed that the change keyboard dialog would pop up. Pressing and moving is the secret!
Ooh in that case I may try using it for typing again. My typing accuracy on Heliboard is abysmal.
What don’t you like about HeliBoard? I have it and FUTO both installed, but I prefer HeliBoard due to its ‘hold space bar to move cursor’ option. Then I use FUTO for the occasional SpeechToText.
“The file you are trying to download is no longer available.” 🙁
Hey now, Pandora still pays 0.133 cents per play to the artists like they always have!
Surprisingly, it’s more than Deezer pays (0.11 cents).
So on a good month, 10 to 15 cents of my $5.00 subscription will go to the artists.
…I think I just talked myself out of paying for this subscription any longer.
Completely agree. They could also build traffic-calming infrastructure on this stretch of road that doesn’t necessitate tricking people into a false reality like ridiculous pothole decals do (which I hope are not even real and are made up for this meme, but probably are real).
There are dozens of us!
When the tape drive fails and eats your tape in the process, you better hope you have a second backup or you’ll be crying salty salty tears.
I worked in the service center for a tape-drive manufacturer and I would routinely see the drives we got back for repair. They were often taken apart by the customer in a frantic and desperate attempt to get their cassette out. The cassette was almost always still in there though, with multiple feet of tape snagged and wound around everything.
As someone who currently uses searxng and kagi, I can say that kagi gives the best results of any general internet search engine. Do I like paying money for it? Of course not. But it will keep getting mentioned as long as it keeps providing the best results.
Customer word of mouth ≠ shills.
