Same here, but the reason this doesn’t work is because a bic Mac meal doesn’t cost $15. It’s more like $10 or even lower with deals. If you are on a budget and have no time to cook, I can see how the cheaper option can still sway the decision. For me, it’s lower than that and will settle for Wendy’s 4 for 5. At $5 bucks, it’s absolutely worth it every now and then when I just want something cheap and quick.
I agree, I only came here in July after they finally followed through with pulling the plug on 3rd party apps. This place has grown a lot in 1 year. Still needs more communities for the smaller hobbies, plus less memes and political content, and it would be perfect. 99% of everyone I talk with here is super nice and helpful as well.
It is where I am as well, plus if you download the app you can bring up your ID card their as well, and it has the same photo on that as well.

I always thought the line would be pedophilia but I’m not even sure that would be enough these days, as disgusting as that sounds.
We don’t have them near me but I went on a trip last year and sadly forgot my belt… so I found a target to hit as it was the closest store near me. It’s the first time I saw this smaller version and I agree it was awful. They did not have a single belt. I hope they fail or at least rebrand because I would like to know that I am going to a butchered version of target before getting there so I can avoid it.

Weird, the hate here for that feature is crazy! I remember recommending something similar to this as a feature to emby years ago, but instead, it would be a home screen category where it lists the most recently watched content of your other users. They said they liked it but, of course, never got around to doing anything with that.
I guess I am shocked that any kind of porn would be added to these kinds of libraries at all. As the admin of my emby library, I share it is strictly tv and movies. If I want to setup something local to use, then I have Kodi for that or just stream sites? Just the thought of adding that content and trying to keep it private sounds like too much stress.
Also, as the admin, I see everything my friends watch anyway, which I would assume is the same on plex? Sure, it’s not everyone knowing what everyone is watching, but someone still can see your activity.
The only thing I agree on is that the feature should have been added as disabled, but at least they are adding unique features. It’s probably getting harder trying to figure out what else to add or do these days.
Those hobbies don’t even need to be that expensive these days either… Just stay single, or if you do find someone make absolutely sure they align with your way of life otherwise I can guarantee your hobbies will look like nothing compared to what a partner can do. And absolutely never have kids… as someone who is now 40 with both those things I honestly don’t know how I will make it work even with working. I regret most of my life choices…
It’s not the tech, it’s the implementation. I absolutely hate most of them, one in particular needs you to scan the item then place it in an area to check weight otherwise it barks at you and freezes you out until they come to check. The amount of times it doesn’t work right makes it the most frustrating system I ever used and actively avoid it but normally can’t since they almost never have a cashier.
I hate the place even more than i did and now try to plan to do the 20 minute drive to a place that doesn’t do this. Good job!
The only part I hate is that real people have and will lose their jobs due to 1 person that treats this entire situation like a kids game.
And apple is a 3 trillion dollar company where they profited 394 billion last year. Not every service released should have to return a profit for it to survive… an emergency service like this should be one of them. Just having it as an option alone improves the name brand, and that should be worth something. Instead, seeing them treat it as another cash grab only makes me hate them more.
I was more referencing the application that they, hopefully, use to store their documents. I really hope they are not just stored in a directory, but I guess who knows… some of the applications I have used reference everything in audit logs from when it was uploaded, to who and when it is viewed, any changes, and more. Without the application the data is encrypted at rest so the files are useless without using the application to open them. We have others that are stored within an encrypted database or use blob storage thats encrypted. Anything, but never plain old windows for storage!
Found the info I was looking for in the article. The documents did not appear to be stored with any kind of encryption… so yeah this was terrible it happened, but it happened partially due to not spending enough on IT resources to guide them on proper practices for handling documents with confidential information and violated HIPAA. As someone who works in the field all patient information must be encrypted at rest or another form of encryption on the data must exist for it to fall within compliance. On top of this only the bare minimum amount of people should have access to this data and absolutely should have audit logs for anyone accessing the data normally through the 3rd party application used to store and lookup the information.
I find it annoying to see the option everywhere, but I have continued to just tip on the things I always have at the % I always used. I hate the recommended amount with a passion… the last time I saw it it took the entire order amount and recommended % amounts where based off that. I have never tipped on total, why would after taxes be part of the tip %? Also I have heard mixed things about this but beer and mixed drinks are also removed as well before calculating the total for tipping. I at least will add a dollar for each drink since it’s what I would tip if I was at the bar.
