Yes. It was a new feature. You can turn it on under settings. Long press on the screen and edit the widgets and turn off notifications for the App Store!

You can enter the credentials manually. I just did it few weeks ago.
Are you the OP in that post? This screen comes up when you add an Apple ID. I recently signed out of my Apple TV and got the same screen. I used the physical remote and entered my credentials. I didn’t need to use my phone, even though that was an option. Maybe this was an issue with iOS 16 as the post is a year old.
That information is incorrect.
It’s not an “end of charging station monopoly” when all the companies are partnering with Tesla for its charging station network after failing to set up one for their own.
The infrastructure is developed around cars so obviously using cars makes sense. We could have smaller grocery stores and have it closer to neighborhoods so people can walk to it but we have buses which only come once an hour which takes 30 minutes to drive 2 miles and your grocery trip will take 3 hours so you are better off just buying a car!
You will always have cases where a car is needed, it’s unavoidable. That’s because it’s designed for cars. We have huge parking lots designed for cars but nothing for public transport. Whenever I travel to NYC or Chicago, I can go anywhere in trains and buses. In my city, I can’t even get milk without driving to a store.
This is brilliant!! I’m going to start doing this as well. Thanks.
I have learnt a lot of tricks just through comments here and on Reddit. You can change what the ‘Triple Click The Side Button’ does in a setting under Accessibility. I use it to toggle VoiceControl to control my phone while driving. There is a manual for every iOS version. Maybe all the tips and tricks are covered there.

Nope. The old one will just work on WiFi or hotspot if I’m away from home. But in my experience, I only needed my old phone at home to look up some message or a photo which doesn’t need WiFi. After a couple of weeks I just turned my old phone off.
Make sure WhatsApp backup is turned on. That’s one thing I always make sure is done as you’ll not be able to login to your old phone to get the chats
Backup to a laptop if you need to.
It will be stored on iCloud. You need to make sure iCloud setting is turned on.
I do this whenever I get a new iPhone. Backup the old phones and include all the apps to be safe. I set up my new phone as new and start using it and download apps when I need it. So I go from 150+ apps to only the default ones so it eliminates any app I barely used on my old phone. I carry my old phone with me for a few days just in case I need to access some app immediately but if you have unlimited data you wouldn’t need to do that.
You can have some apps and settings on iCloud which will get carried over - like Health, Fitness, Passwords etc.
They are some settings which don’t get carried over, like the mail app defaults to Archive on swipe and I need to change to Trash. You’ll anyway figure it out if you are used to one setting. If it’s not usable you can always install the backup. So far I don’t mind starting fresh.
You can add stuff to Grocery list in Reminders using Siri. Not sure if that works with Notes or if you use Siri for that purpose. I just add stuff when I’m cooking and see something run out.
That is so annoying. My challenge for this month is to walk 3 miles and was able to just swipe up to check the steps/distance. Now I need to swipe/scroll 4 times. I hate the Watch OS update.
It could be the Netflix show.
Lol. We already started iPhone 16 predictions.
Hashbrowns from McD is $2.19 here lol. I stopped buying them long time ago.
