There is no room for a discussion. It’s like one side saying “kill everyone” and the other side is saying “let’s not kill people” then people are like “well, let’s compromise and kill just some people, it’s only fair.” No, I’m done. Democrats have been way too tame and compromising for too long, I’m done entertaining this BS.

And if there’s one kid in the bathroom or a person posted by the bathroom watching the monitor? This feels very police state, monitor and enforce not educate and encourage.

Or use it to elicit a response somewhere as a distraction for a prank or fight.

A smoke alarm monitors for an emergency, this is for monitoring people. There is a difference.

It’s not hard to see how the path of “monitor and report” is sliding into a more police state mindset when it’s been show that the best deterrent is education. And before people say “do both”, no. Stuff like this makes kids see the school as the enemy, someone to work around and try to beat. It destroys any trust.

Not as bad as being shot.

This is taking the route of individual monitoring and public shaming to prevent vaping. That doesn’t work, especially with teens.

At no point did I open up the floor to discuss whether or not your stance is good, bad, or ugly. I only talked about your delivery.

Yes, but my pet feed is backed by science to give them what science has said they need and mimics nutrients they would get naturally. It’s not drastically changing the type of diet they would have.

I’ve looked into this and every worthwhile study seems to point to issues with the vegan diet and then potential benefits. I’ve not seen one that shows serious positive aspects without negative ones. I’m open to being shown any though (aside from the one everyone seems to link where they just talked to cat owners). I’m not trying to spin this debate back up, just saying that the science does seem pretty clear.

Well he did take a fairly neutral platform used to spread ideas and form movements and destroy it. So I’m sure the right and the rich are happy about that.
