No, you’re right. But I think this is specifically a message to the oil industry.

Nah. Imo, this is him telling oil company that they need to step up and fully fund his requests for money “or else”. Didn’t he recently ask the oil industry for an insane amount of money at the beginning of his campaign or something?
The first write-off came on Mr. Trump’s tax return for 2008. With sales lagging far behind projections, he claimed that his investment in the condo-hotel tower met the tax code definition of “worthless,” because his debt on the project meant he would never see a profit. That move resulted in Mr. Trump reporting losses as high as $651 million for the year, The Times and ProPublica found. There is no indication the I.R.S. challenged that initial claim, though that lack of scrutiny surprised tax experts consulted for this article. But in 2010, Mr. Trump and his tax advisers sought to extract further benefits from the Chicago project, executing a maneuver that would draw years of inquiry from the I.R.S. First, he shifted the company that owned the tower into a new partnership. Because he controlled both companies, it was like moving coins from one pocket to another. Then he used the shift as justification to declare $168 million in additional losses over the next decade.
Which street??
Ya I was with the service for so long. I miss that little ugly orange triangle with those yellow headphones.
They are a well known brand/ company with reasonably priced family plan. Since I wanted to give back to my family I figured it’d be the easiest transition for all of them since they’re not very tech savy for the high seas or random other better ways to listen to music that take more time to learn, setup, and troubleshoot. (I’m not about to be tech support for everyone). Now another benefit is I can be basic and listen to spotify, on an apple product drinking my daily starbucks while driving my Tesla then scroll through insta and tiktok all day after eating Chipotle.
Also I think YouTube Music pays the least to artists… at least according to some random chart I saw a while ago.
Ya. I just want what I had with GPM. After moving to Spotify, was suuuuper surprised to see how it’s changed. Audio books, podcasts, random gifs for album art, bunch of small changes that feels like it clogs up my music listening experience. I don’t even intuitively know how to train the algorithm since I can’t heart or dislike songs. Maybe I’m just a curmudgeon now?
I’ve been wanting to do this, but didn’t think about new was of tailoring. I was imagining having to go to an old school tailoring and drop massive money on custom pants, or continue wearing pants that are too big. Thanks for the recommendations
Definitely open to other options, but now I’m basically stuck since I have family on my family plan now.
Damn. I was early to Play Music, but not beta early. That’s an amazing price.
Ya. This was my last straw. Figured I’d give them until the end of the original 9.99. So far the transition to Spotify has been good.
Ya. Only 514 Altheic fit work in Levis, and even then I have to buy a size too big in the waist so they fit somewhat loose in the thighs.
Ya. I was originally a Google Play music subscriber which got turned into YouTube music, for $9.99usd. Now they’re increasing the cost by like $4 after December. So I moved to the spotify family plan and now I share with my love ones for only a little bit more than the new YT price.
YT music was turning to sit though. It would always play music video audio with long ass shitty intros when the studio album music existed in their catalog. Even with the music video option turned to off.
Pants bro. I’m a dude and I got some tree trunk thighs and a big ass. I can only wear relaxed fit or classic fit, and even then they’re still skinny fit.
$5 for pictures.
Cool thanks! I’ll check it out.
I keep seeing RSS lists recommended on Lemmy. Can you provide some links on how to set one up? Do I need a website? Does it get sent to an email? How do you find websites for thr RSS feed?
How is the power of the formula measured, and how powerful is it?
Damn $9,000?
As a disclaimer, I am very casual with my game play, but I do love me some MMOs.
I was playing New World pretty much since it’s release and I’ve loved every minute. Good graphics, ok story line, cool combat, no subscription (which is a big factor for me since I’m so casual). Pvp, pve, raids are relatively new, good community from what I’ve seen.
From my understanding is that if you play a bunch of hours everyday and grind, grind, grind, you’ll quickly be bored since there’s lack of end game content, but I haven’t been bored at my pace.
I’ve recently downloaded and have been playing Starfield, so I haven’t been playing NW since, but I do miss NW.
I was just going to say something similar to this. The job application is an assessment for your technical abilities/skills for the job.
The interview is a second assessment to gauge your personality and communication to make sure it’s a fit for the team.
There are VERY few jobs where you can work in isolation. Teamwork, personality and communication are important for almost all jobs. Hench the assessment that gauges those aspects.
