I bought an ultrawide monitor, and it has over the years, become my least favorite part of my setup. The games that I play usually do not even support ultrawide, movies don’t support it, and Youtube videos do not support it.
Basically, I spent the extra amount of money on a monitor that shows black bars 90% of the time I am at my desk, and that has really soured my experience with ultrawides.
The next monitor I get will be a flat, 2 or 4k OLED monitor.
This new Bitwarden 2FA does backup and restore! It was also important to me, as I had a phone stolen one time and without my backed up “emergency codes”, I’d been SOL! :)
Has anyone else had an issue using a USB Bluetooth device, and if you turned off the motherboard Bluetooth, the USB didn’t work either? That happened to me when I was using it, at least. Now, I haven’t tried since then, so I could be wrong now.
See, when I play these types of games, I always think about what I would do in real life during a given situation. If I had the powers of a protagonist, I’d be saving lives left and right, and looking cool to boot. So, I do that in game, since my power in the real world is so limited, and frankly, boring. Playing Mass Effect trilogy again right now. My Shep looks almost uncannily like me. So, the bonds that I form with the NPCs, the actions I take to save lives of any race, and the tough decisions that accompany them just mean so much more to me, seeing a character that looks like just like me doing them. The voice does sound weird in this particular game, but Shep’s voice actor is really good so I don’t pay it too much mind!

Well, when I play a role-playing game, I want to immerse myself into the game as much as possible. I play as myself, and make choices that I would if I were actually there in the moment. To me, it gives my decisions more weight, because they actively affect “me”.
I used mine to cover a job loss for food and gas, and have finally been able to knock it down after two years of buying very little to ensure most of my money goes to paying them off. It is harder than it should be to get back on my feet, especially when I am making more money than I ever have in my life, but the cost of shit also went up with my pay, so it is effectively the same as it was when I was a TEEN.
This is why I go out of my way to not drive by these big vehicles. I do not trust the overworked, and tired drivers, nor do I trust the companies they work for.
I fucking love KDEs Windows 95 theming for some of the interface, while still looking sleek and fast as hell. That and the Plastik theme for the minimize, fullscreen, and exit buttons. :)

Genuinely, the world does not want to always take part in what you want. There are rules to society that most of us at least try to follow out of respect. Time and place to be surrounded by music. I’d definitely say on the bus or train is not the time or place. Agree?

I really don’t understand this take at all. He just seems like a straight up fool to me. Even if he was coerced into destroying Twitter, why do people seriously go, “Oh no! There is literally nowhere else to have these kinds of discussions or rallying!” When there are in fact PLENTY and could even be MADE for these kinds of situations? Look at the Fediverse for example, but why stop there? You’ve got other silly social media sites that can be used the same way if someone actually tried hard enough. If those don’t work out, you can always find a way IF you truly do care enough.
