As I’ve aged I find myself choosing female characters more and more in games that give the option. For me, it’s not about “heheh, hot” at all, they mostly have better voice acting and feel less cliché. I often try the different choices for a few hours to get a feel of which voice actor/actress I like most, and the vast majority of the time it’s the female one. I also generally like heroines more, both in games and movies/series.

I don’t need it to be night to realise that. I have -13 on both eyes, near-sightedness (not sure about the correct terminology in English). I see clearly for about one centimetre right by the tip of my nose, everything closer or further than that is a blurry and fuzzy mess. To use my phone without glasses I have to press it against my nose and can only see about half of the screen width clearly.

I used duckduckgo for years but often had to go back to Google for things. It was never really good. As Google became worse and worse, I really felt like it was hard to find some things no matter.

I’ve used Kagi for a couple of months now and it’s so fucking good, it also has some awesome features no other search engine has, like having full control over how high up specific websites show in results.

Sync has been really weird for the past few weeks, I stopped using it until there’s an update (which hasn’t happened before since several years ago when I started using it as a reddit app).

Logitech Z-5500 Digital 5.1 Speaker System. Bought it on sale for about $250 back in 2005, I’ve used it for hours almost every day since then and still absolutely love it. The only issue I’ve ever had is the back-light of the control module breaking but it’s just a minor annoyance, just need to shine a light on it at nighttime to see the screen.

I’m very happy I have very little real-life experience with any of the anti-vax idiocy, and that it wasn’t really a big thing in my country. Seeing all of the conservative 'muricans loose their minds over it has been both hilarious and frightening.
