This is not really surprising. Everyone’s jobs are on notice at this point. Sure there are a few things that are pretty safe, but a large amount could be cut with just one more advancement.

I think he means an actual one that makes a digital copy of what you write on paper.
I live in a region that has decently low YouTube premium pricing. If it’s ads or nothing, I may get a subscription. But I haven’t checked pricing in a while, so maybe it’s gone up too much.

I completely agree. I’ve started to migrate my work stuff to Linux to see if it will work.
I’m not hopeful that it will work, but the dev said I can try to use wine and that is not against their policy to do so and that I works but have to worry about an account ban.
So, let’s hope for the best.
It was the advertisers and government.
Oh, yeah. I just ignore that stuff. But it’s really annoying. I can’t even think of the last time I played a game online.
Oh, I got fallout 76 on sale super cheap and uninstalled it after 20-30 minutes.
100% Online gaming is pretty toxic and I love being able to play at my own pace.
Only exception to this for me was stardew with my wife.
Linus tech tips did a video about this where he had his team use other tools. Essentially he was like, it would end up costing him more or the same as it would take his team longer to do the same stuff and relearn.
It might have been a shortsighted video, but you can look it up if you want to.
Literally?
Once I got food delivered and it was all fucked up. Like not sealed and everything spilled all over everything else. Like soup soaking the ribs.
They asked for proof that it was in the garbage to make sure will not eat it.
I wasn’t going to anyway, but just to be an add I put it in a fresh trash bag and sent the picture.
I’d already sent a picture of how destroyed the meal was when it was delivered.
OMG! See this is exactly what Apple said works happen if they were forced to slow side loading. I hope you are all happy!
“Checks notes”: Side loading has not been enabled yet…
… oh
I’m not a CEO, but I’m starting a very small company. I have been able to use AI in various way to help me quickly do some work and not need to hire people or commission someone do to the work for me. I still have someone I work with regularly, but instead of having two people. One person plus AI can do the work just fine.
I wouldn’t even consider a port scan a hack.
It’s just like a thief looking at your home to see if there are any windows or doors open.
On top of that their expensive phones are full of bloat.
I don’t know how anyone cat this price point considered anything other than an iPhone for Pixel.
I’m so lucky, my gym membership auto cancels if I don’t pay in advance.
To play devils advocate, my guess might be that consumers will have to schedule to return hardware or something. But honestly, it’s just so they can bully people when they try to cancel.
Yeah! I would have got a 14 if it had usb-c, but since it didn’t I waited for the 15.
Having all usb-c is so great. Like I can explain how much easier the charging tech situation is.
I’m basically using 1 charger for the laptop, phone, headphones, and steam deck.
Oh yeah! I’m dumb! I totally get it. Anytime I buy tech I make sure it’s usb-c if it’s not, then I’m not buying it.
The only non-usbc device left is my wife’s iPhone 13 and a Bluetooth speaker we hardly use.
Have you ever used one of those 9-in-1 usb-c hubs? They blow my mind, how can so much io be handled by that one connection?
This is cool, hopefully we get spreadsheets soon.
