All good mate, no stress

I’m not saying people don’t have issues, just that as a blanket statement it isn’t correct.
You can’t take any distro and not have trouble with Nvidia drivers.
That may have been true over 10 years ago but that isn’t the case anymore. There are plenty of distros that support it OOTB, there are also some helper scripts available as well if that’s your thing.
Anecdotally, I’ve had more issues with AMD (performance and reliability).
The one I wrote myself. Not because its any better ha ha. Its pretty fun to work on it though.
The object/class/thing would normally be its own class file, the action would be a method/function of said class.
Ie:
fileDialog.open()
fileDialog = Class (Dialog), Subclass (FileDialog)
Its been a while for that classic
Only 6 hours on battery? That’s pretty low I’d have thought.
I guess you’d need 10 to represent 0, and if you got 2x 10 that would be 100?
You have my vote. The out of the box experience would be polished and I have no doubt would be done very well.
There is OTPClient [0] for Linux which can be used to import your Aegis keys.
Fair enough. I find if it’s the default option, it’s a better out-of-the-box experience as the devs would have spent more time on polishing etc.
Cool, I’ve wanted to give this a go for a while but never really gelled with Gnome. I’ll have to give it another look.
I use Pushover for my own notifications and was curious to see if they had any info on this. Fortunately they’ve got a note on their page: https://blog.pushover.net/posts/2023/12/encryption
I went through and disabled auto updates for them (through fdroid) just in case.
Excellent - how many trees can I grow on my roof? Can they be retrofitted?

How cheap are we talking? OneDev is awesome but is recommended to have 2gb ram - the more repos and larger code bases might eventually need more ram.
I got up to a pack a day when I decided to quit. The biggest thing that helped me quit was getting an app on my phone which tracked the cost and how many you’re smoking. When you start reducing the amount smoked etc it tracked how much money you’ve saved, how much healthier your lungs are (lung capacity etc), how much more time you’ve added to your life expectency, all that sorta stuff.
Having numbers and stats to track, made it feel more tangible and felt like I was making actual progress towards something.
Its worth a shot.
My opinion, if possible, just use the Papirus icons by default. It does such a great job of being consistent while giving apps their own look.
You can try the Magic SysRq key, if its enabled.
