  • I wasted 15 minutes of my life to understand why he is staying that “blur” is crashing the price of that jpg

It looks like that there’s a new nft marketplace that created some shitcoin as a reward for users. When someone trades a jpg , the platform print this worthless monopoly money and give as a reward for the user. Because there’s dumb people that is buying this monopoly money thinking that surely it would be worth something, whales are exchanging those jpgs between them in order to get the free monopoly money as a gift, so they can dump them immediately and buy more jpgs to exchange.

What a waste of compute energy

  • I really don’t think people is reasoning “yes I definitely need a computer that exclusively can browse the web no matter the price” because otherwise, if price is no objection, they would buy an ipad with a keyboard.

This considering that a Chromebook instantly loses the resale value as soon as you pay it and it comes with a time bomb which is known only to hyper technical people. Chromebooks on discount have just 1-2 years of updates left or in some cases they’re already EOL. It’s crime against the environment that a Linux machine with a browser has a EOL date when it could receive browser updates indefinitely without any issue.

  • Lol I’m so out of touch that only now I noticed it’s DC

LOL that’s why there was batman at the beginning

I was genuinely thinking it was Marvel ignoring all the references to the justice league. Like, my mind shutted off at the beginning of the movie, just watching the action but ignoring the story

    LOL i can’t believe I did such a mistake

  • There are too many. The other day I saw the latest flash movie. It’s the second? Third? Fourth? I don’t know because they don’t put a number and I don’t care enough. Too many stuff referenced other movies or series making watching a bit of a hassle. Is this just unknown and will be told later for making the movie interesting, or it’s because the audience is supposed to having watched 40 hours of previous works?

If they really need to push a new superhero movie or series every 2 months, their stories should be self contained, at most separated in a trilogy. Not an infinite parallel universe constantly self referenced that needs a guide that tells you which content you need to watch and in which order.
