Literally not what people are talking about. It’s the “AI” part of the task that doesn’t leave the device (unless it prompts to ask chat gpt). Not that it can magically gleam live info without making any request to the web…

Jeeze, fucking… get your shit straight, making me defend Apple… Fucking do better.

  • No, that sounds more like you have a sleep issue you are neglecting and now you’re making it everyone else’s problem…

Grow up and fix yourself before you start being proud about being broken, ffs. If it’s remotely a problem to stay awake after sleep and caffeine, you should be talking to doctors.

  • BTRFS is smart enough to check for file errors in some situations under normal operations (I forget which, it’s been a while). When it finds issues, it puts it in read only to try and prevent things from going off of potentially corrupt data.

NTFS, which is what Windows usually uses, is a very “dumb” file system. It is merely a record of what files exist where, so if data corrupts, it will only throw NTFS off if it’s in the file index it stores itself. If it’s in the middle of your file, NTFS doesn’t know and doesn’t care and will just give you the wonky data.

Windows seemingly continuing to work is just a consequence of the “dumb” file system. It will take some critical file getting corrupted before Windows or some program will just crash. At least BTRFS is trying to tell you things are looking amiss and you should definitely back up anything important.

Enforcers only become rulers when they’re given both immunity and the ability to make shit up.

The fact you fundamentally do not understand the difference between rule maker and rule enforcer is pathetic.

If you like the concept, then maybe understand how it’s actually supposed to function. Rules HAVE to exist. Enforcers HAVE to exist. How do you do that fairly? Yes, nature has tendencies, which is why humans create rules and enforcers to resist natural tendencies.

Humans are supposed to be GREATER than “dumb animals”, yet all I ever hear is people whining about how it it’s unnatural… NO SHIT!! That’s the entire point!!

In nature, the strong eat the weak, the end. Game over. We need to create rules and enforcers to make a better environment than is natural. Creating rules requires at least a temporary “ruler” (that doesn’t ‘have’ to be a single person). If you claim ANY ruler is ALWAYS bad, you are quite literally forgetting how not-nature works in its entirety.

The fact you still do not understand the difference between rule maker and rule enforcer is pathetic. Anarchy is literally beyond your comprehension.

Rules HAVE to exist. In some form. They HAVE to be enforced in some form. If you assume any enforcer is a boot of a “ruler”, you are literally missing the entire point.
