9 months agoChromium is still controlled by Google, so having an overwhelming market share of Chromium-based browsers reduces competition and increases Google’s control of the market’s position and future. Using Firefox (and Safari, if it were not locked to a single ecosystem) reduces that threat.
I’m sure many people would be much more willing to go into the office if they got paid for their commute. Even better if they got the pollution from their commute offset. Nothing lazy about wanting to be compensated for things you’re doing for your employer.
