I think my brain heightened in response because it’s telling me “this asshole I’m replying to is an ignorant moron, so I’ll block them and I think anyone should too”.
My therapist told me that family members can’t be replaced. I disagree. They can be replaced. They only become titles but titles also can be ignored.
You don’t have to associate with, acknowledge or interact with the biological family members if they’ve proven to have been a contractual mess of toxicity in your life.
I’ve replaced members of my ‘real’ family and I got better people. People who care and support. I recommend it, to anyone.
Not likely. This is hyperbole.
What is most likely going to happen is that any right-wing, MAGA cultist and whatever. They won’t be penalized for any harassment or antagonizing behaviors committed by them to those they don’t like.
That’s the reality.
Quite a lot, feels like over a majority of my life.
Heard it when Y2K was a thing.
Heard it when 9/11 happened.
Heard it when Bush got re-elected.
Heard it when 2012 came.
Heard it when Trump got elected first time.
Seems to be a recurring thing.
When one or more superpower countries get involved that have incredibly conflicting interests.
The only song I ever enjoyed from those albums is The Memory Remains.
In 2016, when I voted Bernie Sanders.
I lost two friends that year, because they wanted Clinton.
Welp, we knew who voted for the right person back then.
Something I don’t really like seeing when someone asks a question like this, is everyone just jerking someone around with their recommendations.
I would advise first to feel your tastes out, what do you feel like doing? What do you think is worth your time and even money to invest in? Whatever you feel gravitates you, go for it.
Shut the fuck up about the woes with your ex. You’re meant to move on and seek new people. Your ex should be old news, out of sight and out of mind. No new potential date should have to hear you crying about your bad marriage, about how things were once good between you and the other person. Because that’s you not letting go, regardless of what you’ve been through.
And if you keep droning on about your past relationships, you are chopping down what interest there is between you and the new person. That’s why you don’t get anyone new.
I love inventors and creative engineers. They are huge parts of the reason that makes the world go round and without them, we wouldn’t have ever made it as far through the ages as we have.
Simple - because it’s not Twitter.
I hear you. I have Walmart + and thankfully it’s free. Because for the past 3 orders, one of which I paid $80+ for. The drivers kept dropping off my groceries at two different doors in the same apartment building I’m in. How the fuck can you mess that up?
