Idk man, EndeavourOS on KDE has been amazing to me, even on Wayland. Even the plasma 5 to 6 upgrade has been ridiculously smooth. I have a feeling arch may not be the most unified distro to judge a DE on… Hope stuff stabilizes for you a bit. That’s no fun. :(
Goodness gracious ._.
4 mins? Is that an hyperbole? Oo
Im on EndeavourOS like a lot of other folks here, which is basically Arch with an awesome installer, a handful of convenient extra tools, a sensible default confuguration and a fancy theme. It’s been awesome so far, hell I’ve just been able to install and run an EA game from steam with minimal fuss yesterday, just the help of lutris to install EA Origin to authenticate. Shit just works.
That being said, Arch can occasionally blow up at your face for no fault of your own and it’s a very different environment from fedora (love fedora btw), so there’s a bit of a learning curve that you’re gonna have to accept to climb if you want to maintain your system.
Wait did you really take the retina thing literally ???
Maybe you’ve been using themes with too much contrast ? I mean, I can’t work on a light theme for any extended period of time, but most dark themes are too stark and eye searing for me, so that may be your case too?
Mine sure aren’t with light mode, even in brightly lit office environment. Different people have different eyes, and needs. What may be an unnecessary gimmick for you may very well be vital to the next person’s livelihood.
This reads as some kind of weird bait
Never had such a problem with /e/ just with LineageOS, highly recommend!
It doesn’t make sense if you think the heat is here to kill bacteria. However, heat helps detergents do their job, and most likely helps loosen biofilms given their composition.
That answer doesn’t mean shit when it’s actually affecting your well being. I hope you can find a doctor who takes you seriously.
Alun stone changed my life for that reason
Add tampons ans pads to that
Wait till you learn about the -X option ;)
NoMachine is what you’re looking for. Full login remote desktop multiplatform solution like rdp/xrdp, but wayyy smoother.
If xrdp works well enough, NoMachine us blazing fast in comparison. Have you given it a try?
I work in a medical startup and we provide an AI powered service for semi automatic target detection for neurosurgery specifically for Parkinson’s and essential tremor. Many patients have benefitted from it so far with excellent results and the fact that it allows surgeons to perform the entire surgery under general anesthesia makes it much less traumatic and available to many more patients.
It’s okay to reconcile that AI is both an amazing tool with a lot of great benefits in some areas AND a lot of assholish data theft and overhyped, unhelpful bloat shoved down our throats in others.
