I thought it was dumb too but, to be honest, I kind of prefer using “main” now. It’s quicker to type lol

I genuinely can’t tell if this is satire or not
From my experience, companies would rather just pay for a commercial license. Anything abnormal gets trashed and banned in my company.
I think it’s more easy to understand “pay exactly this amount to use commercially” than the legal and accounting teams trying to work out how much to pay when you say 1% of their revenue to FOSS software. You can always donate the profits anyway
As a developer, I see sysadmins/devops as black magic masochists
I had no idea BYID cards were a thing. That’s interesting though
Do you not have ID cards in your country? In Canada we have ID cards and drivers licenses that are exactly the same minus one letting you drive
The Witcher series but made by FromSoftware
Edit: not because CDPR did a poor job on it. The Witcher games are my most played games on Steam. I’d just be super interested to see a FromSoft take on the combat and storytelling.
We still have them in Canada!
Yup same here
Do you have anxiety? I had a lot of these issues before I got on anxiety medication when I worked retail.
I think for me it was that my brain was too focused on anxiety and over thinking things that it wasn’t properly paying attention to the job and social aspects
I’m still so mad about that. I was so excited to have that feature but I was a broke college student through the whole of its lifespan. I ended up jumping from an iPhone 6 to a 12 mini, missing 3D touch entirely.
This is it. It’s showing that you can search based on things in the picture
I wasn’t aware of that. That definitely seems like a fair thing to criticise then
For sure, but the AUR poses a risk to any system if you’re not careful. I don’t think it’s really fair to blame Manjaro for that
That’s wrong though, isn’t it? AFAIK, Manjaro hosts their own repos with a focus on up to date but slightly more stable packages
Same here. I’ve used it on and off for years without any issues. My current install is around a year old and so far has been running smoothly.
I mostly keep it stock with GNOME and use it for dev work which it handles well
I’ll check that out, thanks!
Are there any tools that would make it easy to use with Sonarr or Radarr?
That’s something I’d love to try too! My main desktop is actually kind of similar. I bought a gutted Power Mac G5 case and stuck regular PC parts inside. It was a lot easier of a project though since it’s such a big case haha
Exact same feeling for me
