Pornhub, xtube, I know these names better than Google knows my own grandmother’s. Youporn, xxn, redtube, panty jobs, homegrown Simpsons stuff…
Edit: This isn’t my fault it’s the source articles for using that image.

The tool helps you Deu Sex.
Damn, reading these comments it’s pretty much working.
I had one of those Vivent door to door folks walk up to me one day, garage open. I was polite enough but explained I had no interest in storing a video feed of my house on their servers as I’d like to do illegal things if I want. They assured me it was stored with “aes256 encryption” - which they expect most laymen to be wowed by - but what good is encryption if they own the keys and crumble to government requests?
Not sure about down vote(s), that’s what it says.
Although here’s my prediction: this is the start of yet another narrative to justify why food prices must go up (to satisfy investors and line pockets).
Start planting that seed now, “sorry folks, self check out is losing us money, we have to increase prices another 10%!”
Maybe this is what Jaden Smith meant when he famously stated:
How Can Mirrors Be Real If Our Eyes Aren’t Real
Wow, still blown away…
I can see what you’re driving towards. It’d be far more ideal for us adults to hash this out, yeah?
I wish they’d remove Under God from the damn pledge of allegiance, but it seems schools are the next major battleground (sometimes literally) for all things political.
Whereas I’ve avoided social networking sites (like FB/IG/etc) because I’ve always known most folks use it to brag about how much fun they’re having or what they just bought - LinkedIn is a horrible mixture of how much corporate KoolAid they can drink and their newest job/promotion.
I don’t mind being proud of friends who are doing well but seeing it in condensed milk form makes me sick and applies to both.
When a robot replaces your job (or perhaps your friends or family) and you/they lose their way of earning money will your argument remain the same?
If AI/robots could give us the utopia from sci-fi books it’d be grand and I’d be inclined to agree with you. But they aren’t, no one is getting early retirement because a robot replaced them in a factory and artists aren’t getting residuals from the derivatives these “trainings” are creating. It’s theft, outright, and the thieves are trying to make money off these originals.
Appreciate you adding this context, I was a child in Clinton’s administration so the nuance escaped me.
I read, before replying, that Dems made very loose efforts to codify but it didn’t get the support (on the same side of the aisle) it should have.
Wait, why is raising money your problem here? TFG sells cut up pieces of fabric from a mug shot suit and NFTs to make money…
The only thing I’d relent on is that Dems trusted a Supreme Court decision to confer abortion rights, talk about Dems being dense, why rely on the highest court in the land to set precedent? How funny they couldn’t foresee 6 Republican installed Justices tearing it out decades later, one (Alito) referencing a guy’s treatise from 400 years ago.
Yeah, definitely the same…
I said it in another post but these are the actual Death Panels Sarah Palin ‘fabricated’ (since hers was a huge lie). The government is actually standing between a person who needs care and their doctor.
Well careful now… Mike Johnson was ordained by God, almost a second Moses, and those rights to rule are not from government but the Almighty. And we all know Anger isn’t from God but from the devil.
/s (if it wasn’t obvious)
Keep banning books and privatizing schools folks, this is the indoctrination we’ll end up with.
You guys remember Death Panels, the anti-Obamacare cry that legislatures want to get between you and your doctor to decide who can get care?
Every Republican who jumped on that bandwagon needs to eat crow and realize they flipped like a bitch when it suited their anti-abortion argument.
While outside the scope of the article I disagree with the notion patents need to go away. If privately funded, developed, and created a patent incentivizes ingenuity and has it’s place. That said, limits of some sort prevent monopolies/exploitation and are the other side of a healthy system. **If publicly funded in any way the people have a right to it.
I know Lemmy is very anti-corpo and I generally I am too. But for a personal inventor imagine spending years of your life on a project only to have your only way to seek compensation for that work taken away - unless you’re a total saint you would never want to create again (or certainly wouldn’t share it).
The counter point is that if it can save millions of people it certainly seems wrong to withhold it for personal gain, and so there must be a compromise somewhere or that’d make the person evil (which most corporations end up being).
Free speech on Twitter you say?

I feel we just can’t agree on this argument online, and it’s likely because the line for tolerance differs on so many factors, history being a huge one.
I’m aware German laws exist to ban fascist symbols, likely as an ounce of prevention along the lines, “we won’t repeat another Hitler”.
It might take the US falling into a fascist state and being liberated to make us adopt such “drastic” measures as raids. Until then 1A has been routinely held up to protect hate speech so for now it’s up to us as a society to make a conscious decision what we’ll tolerate. We just have to be as vocal about it as the racists/fascists.
I imagine some “stray bullet” injuries/deaths are caused by firing into the air causing an arc. Don’t mean to “actually” you but it likely isn’t always a shot fired horizontally.
I agree with you by the way. And gun control could start would rigorous training requirements (like checking backstops, education on safety) – it wouldn’t have to be “they’re taking our guns!”.
Thanks, that does make sense. I just finished raking leaves, walked 2 miles today for fitness, cooked dinner, and cleaned up. And there’s still more to do…
If it wasn’t for the tip I would honestly do it too. But I hate tipping non-wait staff so I’ll go pick a pizza up just to avoid it.
Count me in! Switched to Linux Mint for my DD last month.
Only thing I’m missing is a very dead simple 3D modeling replacement for the Windows one (the others have a steep learning curve). I’ll have to find a browser based option…
