Peanut butter and banana sandwich.
Peanut butter and banana sandwich.
When I was a kid, an older kid peer-pressured me into smoking a cigarette. I smoked the whole thing and quickly noped out of that. Can’t believe I made the best decision of my life at the age of 6.
Ahh, I somehow completely missed that it said, “STEPdaughter.” I apologize unreservedly.
Maybe it’s not what you meant, but if this is Marla Maples daughter, then that would be Tiffany Trump, not Ivanka.
I have no idea. Like others I usually request the side closest to the bathroom since I go during the night more often than her. I could see it either way.
An e-bike. I used my regular bike for errands but the e-bike just made it so much easier to pedal in high winds or when I was hauling my trailer full of groceries. Plus it increased my range because I knew I could go farther in the same amount of time. I bought a class 1 e-bike so I always have to pedal, like a normal bike. Because I use it more, I think I actually get MORE exercise despite the assist. I really love it.
And moments after its efficacy was proven, Louisiana banned it.
I’m more of a dog person.
I use Pandora a lot. Often I’ll go to YouTube to watch the video.
So I put in a station on Pandora and when I hear a song I really like (or several I like from one artist) I put that artist in as a station on Pandora. Lather, rinse, repeat. I’ll usually find a bunch of new stuff I haven’t heard before and I’m pretty sure many of them are from little known artists because when I put their songs into YouTube, I notice they frequently have few views. Ex. Jem. Hope this isn’t too obvious.
Maybe because he has expressed his admiration for Putin on more than one occasion, has sworn to pull all support for NATO, which was founded to defend against a Russian threat, around the time of the election the Russians hacked email accounts of prominent Democrats thus helping Trump’s campaign efforts, or because Trump chose to believe Vladimir Putin over his own intelligence agency in the matter of Russian influence in the 2016 election, Trump’s national security advisor was forced to resign after he had inappropriate contact with Russia to discuss sanctions then lied about it, and because there is a boatload of circumstantial evidence, like relations his family has had with people close to Russia. Maybe for those reasons or it could be people are just really unfair to poor Mr. Trump.
I think you’re using your bad experience as a template. I have a friend who prefers renting because he doesn’t have to deal with any repairs or damage. He just calls the property manager. I guess if they are unresponsive he just moves.
Home ownership just isn’t for everyone. If you owned the place you live in you would have had to come up with a larger down payment, qualify for a mortgage, handle every repair yourself and when you wanted/needed to move, sell the house, making repairs before doing so. Plus you’d be at the mercy of your neighbors for your property value to stay up, so you don’t lose money. Don’t even get me started on HOAs. Home ownership simply isn’t for everybody. If you’re landlord was more responsive and the rent was more affordable it probably wouldn’t be so bad. And that’s a different problem than the existence of landlords. It’s really more of a BAD landlord problem, I think.
So curious here:
When I moved to the city I’m in now, I rented an apartment until I could figure out the best neighborhood in which to buy and to find the right house for me.
So it’s ok for me to buy a house and live in it, but it’s NOT ok to rent the apartment. It should have been provided to me, I guess. Is that right?
Capital gains IS progressive. Short term capital gains are taxed as ordinary income. Long term capital gains are taxed according to income bracket and range from 0% to 20%. This year to qualify for the 0% tax bracket a single person would have to make less than approximately $47k. Hardly rich.
If that is the case, why is Trump being tried at all?
I could go for that.
OK, perhaps I was exaggerating a bit. Perhaps it’s more like 10 to 12, but the point still remains that you have to occupy the rest of that time and it’s best if you have a good friend to do that with.
Opinions vary, but it’s my opinion out of all the things two people need to be compatible, friendship is by far the most important. At best sex only lasts, what eight to ten hours, the rest of the time you need a friend. When you are younger, you may be doing it all over the house but when you’re older things typically slow down or there may be times when someone is injured, tired, stuck at work, whatever. In those times understanding, compassion, commiseration and cooperation are important. If your partner is your best friend, you’re never lonely and you can share things. It’s so much harder when you have very little in common with your partner.
Guess I’m rambling now, but this is how I see it.
Good luck to you.
Don’t quote me on the exact time but I heard somewhere that they run so close to schedule that a bullet train arrived something like 18 seconds late and the company apologized for the delay. ( might have been a minute or two but I recall it was really, really short. )
Both, depending on the task.
For instance, I have trouble taking notes while working on my car. Fingers dirty, device runs out of battery and needs power cord, no good program for combining pics and text and so on. It’s just easier to write on scratch paper.
But if I order something online, I just screen shot the receipt.
