I don’t think you even need consent-o-matic. uBlock Origin can block the cookie popups (it’s just not enabled by default)
I’m interested in more details if you want to share. What are the other specs/components of your machine? What OS and software do you run? How do you handle backups?
By default it’s not enabled in uBlock Origin. Go to the filter list settings and enable the appropriate Annoyances filters for Cookie Notices (or just enable all the Annoyances filters)
I can’t seem to find a decent simple open source guitar tuner app for Android
I use syncthing to sync files across my Linux and Android devices. With that, I use Joplin for notes and syncthing keeps them synced between my computers and phone.

A dash cam was definitely one of the best purchases I’ve made. I was able to submit video to the insurance company to show a collision wasn’t my fault. It has also captured some other random interesting events like an electrical transformer explosion during a storm.
Nokia 5150 - My first phone. It featured swappable faceplates, great games like snake, and 1 week of battery life.
Motorola V710 - Flip phone complete with crude internet browsing and GPS.
LG G2x - My first real smart phone, running Android 2.3.
Samsung Galaxy S4 - A significant upgrade, running Android 4 eventually upgrading to Android 5.
OnePlus 7T - I have been using this for 4 years now. I think it’s finally time for an update.

The page always seems to load just fine, but nothing happens when I press the play button. It has never worked for me - am I doing something wrong? (Firefox on Android)
I use my Windows work laptop as my personal laptop by booting Ubuntu off an external SSD. It is connected through the laptop’s thunderbolt USB C port, and Ubuntu runs smoothly without any issues as if it were off the internal drive. And not the most elegant solution, but I have Velcro strips on the drive and laptop, so to transform from work computer to personal, I just stick the drive on, plug it in, and boot up Linux! And the best part is that because it’s a completely different drive, there are no personal files/data actually saved on the work computer.
