I wasn’t attempting to defend what the paramedics did to this person, it was more a slight attempt at defending ketamine against the generalized “ketamine makes you forget to breathe” statement as I felt it made it sound like it’s a very common thing.
Your reference, at least in this particular quote mentioned in infants so I’m not sure how that translates to teenagers or adults. But, yeah, looks like you’re right in at least high doses or very fast IV infusions, which I think this case covers both a high dose and a very rapid IV infusion. But I believe at what would be considered a normal dose there seems to be very little risk of respiratory depression.

Ketamine, as I currently understand it, is not known for depressing the respiratory system. Usually when people asphyxia during ketamine use it’s because they’ve gone unconscious and then vomit and choke on that, which is one reason why mixing ketamine and alcohol is generally a very bad idea.
The main problem is most streaming services will only allow 1080p in browser, some even only allowing 1080p in Edge and will downgrade the resolution in other browsers. You basically have to use a smart TV app to get 4k… So you’re basically down to physical media or sailing the high seas if you want to be able to take full advantage of your TV.
I was more getting at with software development it’s never just the developers making all of the decisions. There are always stakeholders who often force time and attention to other things and make unrealistic deadlines, while most software developers I know would love to be able to take the time to do everything the right way first.
I also agree with the example you provided. Back when I used to work on more personal projects I loved it when I found a good minimal framework that allowed you to expand it as needed so you rarely ever had unused bloat.
