lol at tech’s transparency. You have an availability heuristic issue with your thought process. Every other industry has similar critiques. Your media diet is leading you to false conclusions.

Oh, yeah your cracked launcher designed for Windows probably won’t work well without tinkering.
Who the hell is saying there is no inflation?
Minecraft runs natively on Linux. What was the issue?
House left is the better methodology, you’re going to be talking about sides while looking at the bed more often than while already in it.
Imagine if it said “Epic” instead of “Steam” in the headline.
That’s not what we’re talking about.
No, it’s not.
Cool, please sit through 1,000 hours of Black Widow.
I could not agree more. The number of people in here who are demanding that everyone who uses an OS understand it completely is absolutely ridiculous. I’d love to sit down and watch these people rebuild a lawnmower engine or service the compressor on their refrigerator. Hell, a shocking number of people I meet don’t know how to cook for themselves and they’re going to demand that end users be able to chroot and save a nonbootable system? Get out of here.
Wikis are not really a defense against this issue, they are by nature a secondary or (occasionally by policy) a tertiary source of information. Once the source they are recording dies so does the value of that page on the wiki. From the OP:
54% of Wikipedia pages contain at least one link in their “References” section that points to a page that no longer exists.
Redundant PiHoles on my home network and the iOS devices always run a WireGuard tunnel back to home.
The state is just the abstraction of the collective will of the governed, if the Dutch people have determined this is a crime against their society, then it is.
The state holds a monopoly on violence, another monopoly isn’t a stretch.
not being subjected to the constant growth demands of shareholders is good
ohhhhhhhhhhhhh man
You don’t even want to know about the growth demands in the PE space. You’ll be begging for shareholder growth-curve demands in about zero seconds.
Real wages are up for three straight years; they were unmoved or negative for nearly four decades before that. Your feelings about the economy don’t matter when the data all goes in the other direction
Wait an hour if that’s what you need. And don’t go to wire services for news. Figure it out.
Reuters is a wire service and this is breaking news. Pull your head out of your ass.
Like hell it was. It was a provincial backwater without culture or industry. The revolution didn’t succeed because the country was well managed or capable. It was because it was rotting from within and couldn’t even hold the Eastern Front with massive strategic advantages.
They’re a threat because they’ve always been both bellicose and nuclear armed. It’s infuriating. Between warmongering and nuclear or horribly unstable and nuclear, I’m not sure if I’d rather have Russia or Pakistan.
Base Arch works great with KDE. It’s the only DE I install these days.
