  • My main beef is that I have pretty thorough knowledge of appliance warranties and induction stoves are near impossible to repair. I think it’s partially because the techs don’t know how they actually work, so getting an accurate diagnosis was rough. Most of the time they had to be replaced outright.

If I were to get one I’d probably get a countertop one with a single burner so that if it fails I don’t have to replace the whole induction range, I can just replace that single point of failure.

  • There’s a Honda dealership in my Texas hometown that is known to give terrible deals, and they’ve been sued dozens of times for misrepresenting financing to buyers.

They only haven’t been shut down because they’re one of the few authorized Honda repair shops in town, and they have the family name of one of the town’s founders all over the building. That, on top of the lack of regulation on what they say vs what they do, is why they’re so against this law.

  • I loved the headphone jack on the S10, but other issues I had with the charging port made me switch to an S23 at the beginning of this year. I generally do not like wireless headphones due to the possibility of losing them, but using wired headphones and requiring an adapter to use them (because the S23 has no headphone jack) is a pain.

Overall, due to the specific nature of my phone, I’d use wireless headphones to regain the ability to answer and respond to phone calls while walking and listening to music. If I could get a Galaxy S class of phone with a headphone jack again, regardless of the thickness, I’d 100% be all over it.
