Keep in mind, it’s not just clients, but servers too. A friend of mine works for a decently sized company that has about 1600 (virtual) servers internationally. And yes, all of them were affected.
So, I haven’t been on Lemmy for very long, but one thing seems to be true here, just like on Reddit: People don’t understand nuance and are only drawn to extremes. There’s sooo much going on between facism and unchecked capitalism and communism, but so many people here are just willfully ignoring that, apparently 🙄

I don’t remember if they do this in Cyberpunk, but I always hated it when some character is dying and I have a stim or a health potion or similar things on me, and I can’t use it on them. Instead, my character just fucking turns into an inept, stuttering idiot. Like, there should be a pay off for being well prepared!
Also, fuck games who make my character super powerful mid gameplay, but then lets them get pummeled by some weak ass attacks I could’ve easily dodged during a cutscene.

2·9 months agoTrue, in most countries the prison system is crap. I just don’t like when people paint other people as monsters, no matter what they’ve done. Rehabilitation to me doesn’t necessarily equal them being free ever again. Just means that they’ve changed as a person and truly regret their actions.
On the other hand, there’s a lot of people who need to be handheld through the experience. Maybe this is even their first ever video game.
Ideally, it would be an optional thing, but oh well.
