Why would you not be able to access the filesystem of a device you own and are in possession of? Is this some kind of walled-garden thing I’m too Apple-free to understand?

Um… Its not ironic at all? Mozilla has been active and well regarded in privacy oriented spaces for many years.
It’s not just about the content posted by individuals though. The community and relationships built on a centralized platform are also at risk to a much greater degree than they would be on federated social media.
How would you get through the install though? Are there any simple solutions without any graphics output?
What if I’ve never built a headless system and am afraid of not having easy access to a GUI?
I didn’t even notice that was a mod. Disgraceful honestly. I was surprised to see that post still up after the poster continuously and deliberately misunderstood what FOSS means. Like its fine if you want to make open source software without a free license, but at least recognize the difference when people spell it out for you, or at the very least don’t be rude about it.
From what I’ve read both arch and debian stable aren’t vulnerable to this. It targeted mostly debian-testing.
I really love “Sarah Shook and The Disarmers” as well. They actually go by River Shook now I think, but the band still uses their dead name.
A bit more on the folk side than country, but “Nick Shoulders and The Okay Crawdads” is one of my absolute favorite bands these days. They just put out a new album too and I can’t recommend it enough.
Use Cromite on mobile. It’s a continuation of Bromite which has been maintained by one of the devs since bromite quit being updated a year or so ago. Previously it was called bromite-buildtools, but they just recently got a new name and logo.
I guess to more thoroughly answer your question - no. I don’t know of any tool to make that process easier, but every keepass client I’ve used has functionality to sort by date modified.
Keepass works great and you can use syncthing to keep up to date keyfiles on all your devices. I use keepassxc on PC and keepassdx on mobile.
I never really understood why to use -Syu instead of just yay
I’ve never installed an old work ceiling fan box, but they definitely exist for exactly this purpose.
I switched to BTRFS recently, but found myself even more fucked when my system stopped working suddenly and I didn’t know how to fix it without reformatting and installing grub again. Actually lost even more than I would have otherwise just because I wasn’t knowledgeable enough to get any form of recovery to work. That first EndeavourOS install didn’t last 2 months sadly.
Edited my kernal parameters to prevent my CPU from going into a low power state that had been causing crashes for years apparently.
Edit: if you use 1st gen ryzen and have been putting up with intermittent crashes thinking it was your shitty old used GPU like me, try disabling c-state 6.
