What does natron offer that you would use it over fusion (in davinci resolve)?

Home Alone. It was one of my favorite movies as a kid. I don’t really rewatch movies anymore. There is so much content out there that I haven’t watched, I would rather see something new than just rewatch something that I’ve already seen.

I can buy some ice cream and put it in my freezer, and it’s extremely soft, I can just put a spoon in it with no resistance. A lot of people are very religious and oppose abortion. And that is literally the only issue they care about. Trump stacked the Supreme Court and got abortion made illegal in many states. They love him for that.

Some people think he’s stronger on the economy. They just think “look at all this inflation we’ve had under Biden! It wasn’t like this when Trump was in control.” Of course they can’t think far enough to realize that perhaps a global pandemic caused this inflation and there was little that Biden could have done to stop it.

I think those are the big two reasons. But then there is the propaganda. People are made to believe that crime is running rampant despite the fact that violent crime is actually relatively low compared to in the past. Illegal immigrants are vilified as criminals who are bringing drugs and crime into the country while taking advantage of government benefits. The propaganda says that Democrats are the cause of these problems, and Trump is the solution. Tons of people fall for it. And Democrats are really bad at counter-propaganda.

Well, hopefully this will at least force stability’s hand in some way and get them to at least make an official statement instead of just remaining silent.

28GB? Are they really that stingy that can’t can’t pull the trigger on 32gb for their top of the line card? The 3090 had 24gb, the 4090 still had 24gb, and now they add a measly 4gb more? This tells me that they are probably going to keep vram mostly the same on the lower cards as well.

I’m addition to the other comment, I’ll add that just because you train the AI on good and correct sources of information, it still doesn’t necessarily mean that it will give you a correct answer all the time. It’s more likely, but not ensured.

What amazes me is how many people care about this piece of crap in the first place. Like WHY is everyone talking about it? It could have been one of thousands of shitty tech products that I had never even heard of, but everyone wants to talk about it for some reason.

They provide a simple example with a few thousand neurons, and even then, we can’t easily tell what the network is doing, because the neurons do not produce any traditional computer code with logic that can be followed. They are just a collection of weights and biases (a bunch of numbers) which transform the input in a some way that the computer decided that it can arrive at the solution. GPT4 contains well over a trillion neurons, for comparison.

Several years back I watched a Japanese film called Fish Story. It’s a pretty weird movie, and the first time I watched it, I hated it, and almost turned it off. It was just kind of boring, and it was really confusing because it kept jumping between different stories, and it was not in chronological order. Then, right at the very end, a short segment tied everything together so incredibly. It blew my mind and I immediately wanted to watch the movie again. I have never experienced anything like that before or since. I don’t know anyone else who’s ever heard of this movie.

I don’t believe I played it, but I remember that box art. They probably had it on the shelves of my local blockbuster video. I think it might have also been a cover feature in Nintendo power.

While I get what you are saying, it’s pretty clear that what he was saying was that if you actually populate the dataset by downloading the images contained in the links (which anyone who is actually using the dataset to train a model would need to do), then you have inadvertantly downloaded illegal images.

It is mentioned repeatedly in the article that the dataset itself is simply a list of urls to the images.

No one is moving to Firefox, because most people don’t care. Just like people stay on Reddit or X, they are going to stay on chrome. Google will feed them shit and they’ll ask for more.

All we can do is worry about ourselves and keep trying to make alternatives viable.

No shit that using your PC for any purpose will consume electricity. A modern GPU can generate an image in a couple of seconds. Or I could just play a video game for an hour, and consume a few thousand times more energy
