Mandatory housing units over every strip mall and big box store in America.
Even just a few units. Hell a few mobile homes up there even would go a long way. Forced mixed use development.

If it’s like 100 tacos for $100, I think I could go for that right about now.
Hundreds of thousands of temporary shelters would also be delivered.
Reconstruction will not be overnight and theres a lot of things like schools and hospitals to rebuild too.
The plan is to work with partners towards reconstruction. I know that terminology well: If I am to compare this to how this kind of stuff is handled domestically after say, a natural disaster: a lot of people are going to be left waiting a long time in rubble.
Palestinian civilians would also be allowed to return to their homes across the enclave
Oof.
They’ll be welcome to pick up the rubble and extract the remains of their family on their own time and labor.
Our instincts draw from pretty far back in our biological origins as well. The notion of mimiclike predators is pretty damned ancient and likely a factor for very earliest common ancestry.
So fucked it is even happening but at least we should get a good picture over which members of Congress are devotees to a foreign power so we can never vote for them again.
I think fiction is absolutely fine for classes in literature and language which is often a major core component of education. Historical fiction I wouldn’t add to curriculum but are great as recommendation to compare with a lesson for an interpretive context.
Not sure how you can teach STEM with fiction though.

That guy in particular calls himself a liberal. Thinks anything related to leftism or marxism is authoritarianism, and loves Elon.
Wants weed, nuclear, and no substantial structural changes to society or economics whatsoever.
TESC has always been a pretty radical place, but you’re not wrong that there’s a bit of a legacy with Palestine there. (Source: am alumnus.)
Though the college more recently had a problem on campus with protesting that involved a professor being effectively chased off campus and the administration managing to both use the police and not use the police wrong.
They previously handled radical protests pretty well, but had lost their step after some key administrators retired. Seems they’ve found their way again.
I know a guy who in 2021 saw a single teenage girl with a BLM sign on a street corner outside St. Louis and has a panic attack, proceeded to invest in home security.
Seriously. He saw it as a signal that his ‘enemies’ who would be his enslavers are invading his space and that he wouldn’t be safe.
The Supreme Court of the United States is currently hearing arguments on whether Trump has immunity from criminal acts until Congress does the political act of impeaching in the House and convicting in the Senate. Meaning this congress or a later congress would first have to impeach, convict, and remove from office a president that is already out of office.
It sounds silly because it is, but the justices Trump appointed appear to have his back and are prepared to make that decision in his favor.
So we are close to seeing if Trump’s legal troubles will be politically whisked away so he can get re-elected or not.
The party is supporting him either way, regardless of a legal ruling or any regard to the law.
I have had the same company send their new guys each spring and fall to pitch spraying my house for bugs for half a decade now. New kids same pitch.
I have gone from polite to outright hostile and they keep blowing past my signage since they’re ‘just working on my neighbor’s yard and thought they’d offer out of convenience.’
It’d be like shock therapy, baby.

Just fighting against the most insidious of communist plots.
It’s like building infrastructure works.
To be honest it is extremely wonderful and infectious.
It is also exhausting.
And relentless.
