I bet you’re someone whose nose almost imperceptibly points downward.
If one has the mental fortitude to plead, then possibly either:
The court would reject it because the judge would be confident the person was lying. Or,
The person would be sent for psychological evaluation, and if the person was deemed unfit to stand trial, they would continue to remain in a psychiatric hospital until such time that they are not deemed a threat to themself or to others.
There’s not a good way to find out, no. A lot of the data is “anonymous” when collected, and aggregated before it’s sold. But it’s not hard to de-anonymize the data afterward.
So it’s hard to put together a firm trail that shows data from point A gets to point B.
They sell it to anyone willing to buy it. So, yes.
The “Western” countries pillaged the rest of the world for centuries.
Haha, I get it. No offense taken.
I don’t disagree. But for better or worse, most people don’t think that much about their software.
Folks like us who do? We can make informed decisions.
Folks who don’t? Canonical’s experiments are probably still better than dealing with Windows 11 or macOS.
You’re not wrong, but there’s also value in exploring different ways to do similar things. That’s what’s great about Linux.
Some of Canonical’s efforts may lead to failure, but that doesn’t mean they are a waste.
Could mean the world will end in 2049, so nobody will be here to dispute it.
You’re going through a lot of effort to deliberately miss the point.
I tried installing LXLE - and in spite of multiple attempts, it simply refuses to install the boot files into the boot partition. 🤣
So I suppose it’s getting a different flavor, after all
I appreciate your response. it’s good to know I’m safe running what I know. And cerement gave me some good info so I can learn more about different distros. :)

Theoretically, there’s a 127 device max.
In practice, it depends on each vendor’s hardware implementation.
Technically speaking, calendar apps don’t really communicate with each other directly at all. It’s the email systems that talk to the calendars.
As fubo said, there’s no protocol for a calendar function. Protocols are what apps used to talk to each other.
If perspective is illusory, then learning more subjective perspectives will help you see commonalities and find additional ways to address them.
You may not believe that the writer has valid perspectives, but you will learn more about how perspectives are presented.
I’m just jealous your town still has an Arby’s.
