  • in my teenager years I was always fascinated by complicated things, even rooted my Android phone and customized it with CyanogenMod quite a lot.

Sure, witnessed a lot of bugs, some of them more disturbing that others, but it was a cool learning process.

With age, family, kids and more responsibilities, I just wanted something that “just works” as I didn’t have enough time to troubleshoot anymore 😞

I don’t think it’s ok to generalize what teenagers want, at that age I wasn’t even sure what I want with my life haha

  • I’m using it on the work Mac.

Got a lot of windows open: email, browser, IDE, chat app and so forth… Stage Manager grouped them all really well. Also, I’m using it on a big monitor so I can resize those windows however I want.

I like that my desktop is not that messy and when I have to share screen with colleagues I won’t get lost in windows.

On the iPad I see no use-case for it, it’s quite sluggish on my iPad Pro 2020

  • Not the best advice I can give you. Spark mail client, what looks really beautiful on the outside hides a lot of sorrow underneath, if only you find the time to go through their T&C’s, 2-3y ago when I checked, there was a clause there that was saying they’re allowed to download ALL your emails — which to me is a mental breach to privacy.

I’ve arrived at an age that beautiful UI/UX does not sell it for me anymore unless I get privacy — privacy on should be default IMO; but sadly, we live in a world where this became tabu nowadays… which is quite unfortunate. Personally I just stick with Apple Mail; I receive emails, I can reply back, it’s private enough — enough for me.
