It was reading this comment that made me realize that I hardly ever use the play store over f-droid anymore, because off the top of my head I couldn’t tell you what the UI looks like

There is no sequel in ba sing se
Which doesn’t solve the problem for either me or the person who asked the question, yes I know better than to get a Samsung now, but I plan on keeping my phone for as long as I can regardless
Saying something we already know doesn’t help anybody
“Buy a different phone” is not an option for everybody
I was trying an older version, but sense you asked I switched to Version 14 Beta 2 today and still don’t see it, though i will go back and look through the settings
Mine isn’t locked and all I see is icon packs, though I have found a way around it by making a custom pack using an app I found on f-droid
I’ve now tried this, and while I could probably get used to it fairly easily, unless I’m missing something it doesn’t have the capability I was talking about, which is the ability to change apps to have custom icons, not just icons found in theme packs
Does anyone know of any other launcher that let’s you change the icon of an app to whatever image you want in your gallery? Because i have gotten to really like that level of customization and nothing else I’ve found let’s me
PlutoTV I like cause it may have ads but it’s free and you don’t need an account, paying for a system where you watch ads and random streamed content is something i will never do (and no, I never had Live TV either)
It’s still years newer than firefox
I basically use discord for notifications about projects I sort of care about, but am not focused on anymore, and for private communications between friends, there is no in between
mostly same here, with occasionally trying out some chromium based browsers, never understood why Firefox is referred to as an “alternative” by so many people, chrome is the alternative
But if all the horrible people left Christianity, they wouldn’t be the dominant religion anymore, and they can’t have that!
On the other hand picking up your thumb is far easier than picking up a mouse, plus you can spin the ball, and the more you get used to trackballs the easier it is to move it exactly how much you want with a quick spin
I think you mean better
(Depending on the user)
As a trackball user and a steam deck owner I’d love a “trackball” with valves touchpad tech in it instead of the ball
The same is true no matter the OS, It’s always good to be prepared ahead of time
Obviously I can’t speak for everyone, but personally speaking I’ve had no issues playing the multiplayer games I play, which (in my particular situation) puts me above at least one of the windows users in my group
Installing things not through steam can take longer sometimes, but I always made sure to do that ahead of time anyway
“I don’t have the same problems anymore so this is outdated”
