I’ve had to swap Firefox on my laptop for the deb package, the snap took like 5sec to open, whereas the deb opens instantly. Other than that, i don’t see much of a difference, but i run into sandboxing issues quite often (same with flatpak though)

It doesn’t make sense to take a pill that neuters you, and then go and take another pill to counter the effect. It’s like if you’re obese and have high blood pressure, and instead of exercising you take pills against it - you’re only fighting symptoms, not the root cause
I just switched to a degoogled phone and Aurora recently, and it worked fine installing 30+ apps. When you get an error, try logging out of Aurora and start a new session, maybe the current Aurora proxy your phone is using is down
or, you know, lemmy? it’s not that much different from forum software, is browsable and federated
