COVID has long lasting effects across your entire body, it impacts your immune and cardiovascular systems for years after you get it.

Risks of heart attack, stroke, etc are increased 2.5x in the year after infection, increasing exponentially with the number of times you have been infected. In fact, the risk of pretty much ANY health problem skyrockets following a COVID infection.

You don’t memorize RSA keys

No im saying if your password size is limited to a fixed number of characters, as is the case with RSA keys, words are substantially less secure

Words are the least secure way to generate a password of a given length because you are limiting your character set to 26, and character N gives you information about the character at position N+1

The most secure way to generate a password is to uniformly pick bytes from the entire character set using a suitable form of entropy

Edit: for the dozens of people still feeling the need to reply to me: RSA keys are fixed length, and you don’t need to memorize them. Using a dictionary of words to create your own RSA key is intentionally kneecapping the security of the key.

It’s unavoidable - once the cheese gets hot enough the steam will either force the liquid cheese out of existing holes, or it will make its own holes.

Make sure they are fresh out of the freezer when you put them in, as this lets the outside crisp up more before the inside becomes lava. The feature is explicit sync, which is a brand new graphics stack API that would fix some issues with nvidia rendering under Wayland.

It’s not a big deal, canonical basically said ‘this isn’t a bug fix or security patch, it’s not getting backported into our LTS release’ - so if you want it you have to install GNOME/mutter from source, switch operating systems, or just wait a few months for the next Ubuntu release

GNOME said this update is a minor bug fix (point release)

Canonical said this is actually a major feature update, and doesn’t want to backport it into its LTS repositories

To add: Bluetooth and WiFi both use the 2.4ghz spectrum. They are on the same chipset because otherwise you would need two antennas

This is very pie in the sky. Your license idea only penalizes small to medium sized businesses. Alphabet’s 1% would just go to Chromium/AOSP, and Meta’s 1% would just go to React/Torch

You are probably better off setting up a non-profit and running traditional license fees through it into your payment union then. I can’t emphasize how much of a non-starter 1% of revenues is for any business (it’s my company’s entire IT budget, including salary) - you are basically just saying “personal use only” with more words.

1% is an exorbitant amount of money, and more than most businesses would be able to donate via credit card, so they would still have to reach out to repository owners for banking info

To elaborate a bit more, there is the MySQL resource usage and the docker overhead. If you run two containers that are the same, the docker overhead will only ding you once, but the actual MySQL process will consume its own CPU and memory inside each container.

So by running two containers you are going to be using an extra couple hundred MB of RAM (whatever MySQL’s minimum memory footprint is)

Every time there is a transaction the sender’s funds are mixed together with a bunch of other senders, and the recipients receive their money from this random pool, so there is no direct association between sender/receiver

You can (and should) just use the one MySQL container for all your applications. Set up a different database/schema for each container

Problem with that is that when you click a link in the teams PWA it opens in edge rather than your default browser. I just use the unofficial teams electron app
