All of my personal servers are Debian. My last company switched their entire production fleet from centos to Debian. I think a lot of people switched to Debian back when the Centos Stream debacle went down.
Use a partition manager like parted or fdisk to delete all the partitions from the drives and create one new one that encompasses the whole disk.
If you are doing all this from a GUI you can use Gparted to make it easier for you.
I don’t think very highly of a cloud based app asking me for my credentials for every other cloud based app I used.
You’ll finish your enshittification and you’ll like it!
“Works on my machine…” Classic dev response, lol.
Use dd on the entire disk?
People like that make me like systemd. Honestly, I see no issues and rarely have a problem with systemd. Shitposting about it is all well and good, but being an anti-systemd evangelist is tiring and weird. All these old heads can still just grab the kernel and build their own OS around it with whatever init they want.
In my opinion, using windows server is only a disadvantage. Linux is the preferred server OS for almost any application. You will find a larger knowledge base online for both Linux and running all that software in Linux. Windows really only has a place as an exchange server IMO, and even then you can find a better option probably.
That being said, I will also recommend Debian.
Used Thinkpad from eBay is your best bet to start imo.
It has been pretty great. Only downside has been some of the API behavior, but FreshRSS isn’t to blame for that I don’t think.
I think that is part of iOS and the real question is which app (likely third party) is causing that to be present enough to show up in the screen time usage.
Was using moonmoon for a long while but it’s been abandoned for a longer while and I recently switched to FreshRSS. So far so good, it has support for fever api, so I can sync it up to Unread on my iPhone.
Mine is running on a VPS with 1vCPU and 1GB of RAM, it is mostly okay except for going OOM on occasion. Luckily it’s just me in this instance right now lol. You may want to opt for more RAM depending on your planned usage tho.
Reddit is firmly in the “only SEO matters” stage, so they are definitely falsely reporting engagement even more so than they always were.
Wasn’t intending to invalidate OP wanting privacy, I just don’t think that removing the antenna will do what they want.
Your argument is purposefully obtuse tho, lol. Underwear tracking… lol.
If you don’t have one already, I suggest keeping an on this account for updates to various pi inventory.
Honestly, I’m not sure how much you will achieve by removing the antenna. Especially when you use a cell phone and computer. What is it about car manufacturers that you are trying to hide from?
What they say doesn’t matter, it’s what they write that matters.
