The Last of Us was released for the PS3 in June 2013.

The Last of Us Remastered was released for the PS4 in July 2014.

Almost every case of movie purists. The Hobbit trilogy was great. The new Star Wars trilogy was great. The old ones are great too.

I have similar issues with music and video games. I almost always love the most hated albums or games in a series based on the loudest commentary online. I also find the most popular entry to be kind of meh. I think average people have boring taste or just follow a crowd or something.

You know those surveys that ask if you Agree, Strongly Agree, Disagree, Strongly Disagree? That kind of crap? Yeah, those don’t work. They’re idiotic, because your average person doesn’t really know which accurately reflects them and they gravitate towards what’s easier for them personally to respond with.

This will have a similar effect. Lots of people won’t give the accurate reason. They’ll give a comfortable reason.

I like that they are trying something new though. Critique certainly doesn’t mean don’t try it or don’t play with it.

Nintendo garbage is garbage?

Sure. All valid and I agree and understand. My issue is that they do it anyways. Hardly ever do these companies change course after the backlash. They’re going to keep ramming this garbage down our throats. Being enraged all the time about this, among so many other things, gets old.

Sure. I agree. But like, it’s here to stay. The hand wringing for years has changed nothing. Why are we dying on this specific hill? It’s exhausting seeing the endless bitching about this. It’s just another idiotic thing in life where it’s probably healthier to accept it and move on.

I would watch this movie with so much popcorn.

Like making controllers actually work on PC? And while remote playing? Could we start there?

Why is logging in to third party accounts the end of the world?

I play on PC too, and while it’s somewhat obnoxious dealing with Ubisoft or EA, and I also have a Playstation account, I don’t understand the big ordeal with just signing in to their stupid thing. Play the game until you’ve had enough, then be done.

You need to sign in to Steam, or Epic, or Gog or whatever. You probably sign in to emails and other accounts. Tons of things have your data whether you like it or not. The outrage all the time on this kind of thing feels really misplaced and overblown.

As a bonus, I remember watching Walker Texas Ranger with my father in law, amd the amount of times people had their sights on him and didn’t shoot him was ridiculous. He’d have died so fast.
