I tried it on the Gemini web app and couldn’t replicate the results. Is that different from the AI overview?

It’s kind of weird too since they sell PS5s in regions where PSN isn’t officially supported.
The other stupid part is that WFH makes more sense from a business perspective. Having to pay less in office rent and utilities is great for saving on costs.
Buildapac is probably still one of the best places to get advice on pc parts.
I live in a third world country and have to usually have to take taxis to get anywhere without being a sweaty mess and I’d love to the point where public transportation can get you anywhere in the metro, similar to how Hong Kong (where income taxes are pretty low as far as I know) does it.
I honestly don’t get their argument. Yes, the current situation is bad and will necessitate using cars, but isn’t that the point of the post? That things could be better? That getting to the reality where cars are not as needed would be great? It’s such a strange attack against people who want better public transportation infrastructure.
From what I remember, some of the content was already on the disk.
Ah, looked more into it and yes, it appears I was mistaken. What got Bowser though is that it appears that they also set up access to roms though I don’t know if this was included in the purchase of the device.
This was from one of his e-mails:
“I [am] going to be busy setting up the ‘underground’ stuff (rompacks, coverarts, emulators) on maxconsole forums, that will also help on ‘grey side’ of the device for those wishing to play more than original snes cartridges,” Bowser wrote in an email quoted in the indictment against him.
“We have a plan in the works to have secure links to these retro rompacks on a protected server, so it will not be a problem,” Bowser said in another quoted email.
Here’s an article that has more details on what happened.
Didn’t they monetize the website through subscriptions?
First impressions matter and Epic fucked up big time when they launched the store. There were a lot of missing features that were available on other storefronts and it was a pain to use. Another thing that really pissed people off was when they made exclusivity deals for games that were crowdfunded. A lot of people did not like that they lost the ability to play on a platform that they preferred when they directly contributed to a game being made. It was also scummy to make deals for games that were already announced on Steam (i.e. Metro: Exodus, Darq) While the store is better now and they’re funding games instead of making exclusivity deals, there is a reason why a lot of people do not trust Epic or continue to dislike them despite the free games.
Epic Games hasn’t done it much lately, but when they first launched they paid a few big games to be Epic Games Store exclusives which is obviously anti-consumer behaviour.
Exclusivity deals on their own were pretty bad, but what really pissed people off was that some of the games that were made exclusive were crowdfunded.
I think they’re funding games now so that there’s less backlash to exclusivity.
Man, I still feel bad for missing that qte in Assassin’s Creed with Da Vinci
Seems to be a US thing. I’ve always had a good experience with AirBnB in Asia.
Personally, while I do use Heroic to access games from the epic games launcher, I will probably never buy anything from them because of Epic buying exclusivity and removing Steam as an option from games that were crowd-funded.
