This might work but on the other hand, the brand name “X” doesn’t have a nice ring for the younger generation unlike TikTok or even Vine. “X” is so… Gen X…(sorry, boomer for the young 'uns for everything before 2010).

That’s why income-based fines should be done.
Water guns and nerfs are now mostly made in China after all.
Elon be like: Fuck them.
I am surprised they even passed that law. For Floridian standards, this is good and the bar isn’t even high 😂
In every past conflict in history Russia traditionally does terrible in the first few years of a conflict and absorbs staggering losses but is able to figure out what works and ultimately wins.
That’s patently wrong. Russia at best has very mixed records. They don’t win every conflict. Take the Crimean War, Russo-Japanese War, World War I, invasion of Afghanistan and Chechen Wars. There is the famous adage: Russia is neither weak nor strong.
Russia and Ukraine are on a stalemate. We don’t know how long this will last. But stalemate does not necessarily mean winning or losing.
It’s too early to tell if Ukraine will actually win or lose. This war has unexpected surprises from both sides. Although I will say that the stalemate is in Putin’s favour. The longer the war drags on, the more the Western support could diminish and he could bide time until Trump returns and American support might withdraw. But even if Russia wins or get concessions, the resulting demographic crisis, financial cost and loss of international image is pyrrhic victory.
Pope: Who are you to tell me, you heretical non-Catholic!
But seriously, I think the Evangelical leader is just trying to win brownie points from his own flock. “See I am right unlike the heathen Catholics!”
I used to be ambivalent to proselytising but eventually I realise that it makes the proselytising religion have superiority complex. They basically tell you that “you’re not good enough until you join us”, especially with the Christian rhetoric that you’re a sinner and could only be saved by becoming Christian. I’m not sure about Islam but they also proselytise like Christianity does.
Sounds like Navalny was hidden so that he won’t be able to send his file for candidacy in time for the Russian presidential election.
I think people should read more about media theory. Especially “The Medium is The Message”.
I think people miss the keyword “social”.
Well, people have been sending mails before just for fun. Hence the phenomenon of “penpals”.
No matter how much you rationalise it, forum is still a social media. You are still socialising after all-- in a medium of communication. You can still post pictures in forums if you want, but modern social platforms just have better UI and convenience to post videos and photos than older forums.
Don’t let others know of your hiding spot.
Israel’s done for now! They will get stern words and hard finger wagging from the UN!
Could people not hype the F-16 deliveries? The media hyping NATO wunderwaffes and Ukrainian counteroffensive, which failed to deliver expected outcomes, just played into Russian propaganda. Kremlin foresaw the axis of advance to be southern Ukraine because the Western freaking hype that that is where the likely axis for UAF. It lost the element of surprise! Compare this to 2022’s Kharkiv Oblast counteroffensive operation. Before, the media had been saying the war could become a long war, until they changed their script when Ukraine thunder run Kharkiv oblast and kicked out the Russians. Everyone then said Putin will be ousted by the end of 2022! That did not happen although Putin’s rule became delicately precarious.
Ukraine does better when their operational security is kept intact and when no one expects them to win. Okay there was the leak of counteroffensive plan but Western media hyping things up doesn’t help! Just stop with sensationalism!
But a lot of people sees it that way. The war in Ukraine is proxy war between democratic countries versus authoritarian ones after all.
My coworkers talk about various TV shows and movies. I may not be able to keep up with the shows and miss out on the discussions, but fuck FOMO.
