If the feature can be turned on and off by the user then I don’t think it goes against anything right, they’d still have the power?🤔 but locking down everything doesnt seem like a great fix for the average user. Bug fixes should be the real fix
How is this a solution? 🤔 and whats the “solution” for android?
What’s the suit reference?
What’s the title about?
Is it a Sync problem or a Lemmy problem that comments seem to be in wrong threads? 🤔
Nah. That’s too black and white
What field?
Someone with headphones on does not necessarily mean they wouldn’t want to chat. And a wave doesn’t necessarily mean the waver wants to chat either (I don’t mean waving right next to someone to get their attention)
If someone has headphones on, you can wave, and if they take them off then greet them. If they have no headphones in, you can just greet them
Some people are proud, or want to show representation
Wow cool feature!
Maybe people want to remain within Lemmy
Why’s that?
Not sure if this is a serious blanket statement?
What does this mean?
Your sources may show how the system is more beneficial for parents but does it show proof that it was designed that way?
